    Please elaborate on your report. There are several options for deleting emails from the spam folder. You can press the delete button the keyboard, right click and select delete or click on the delete button on the bottom of the mailbox.


    If you feel that these are not working, please use the "Report a bug" option under the help menu. This will provide us with some additional logging information that will be crucial in understanding what is happening so that we can resolve it.

  3. email scam

    Emails from clients I've known for years suddenly started showing up in scam folder months ago, and no matter each time i click on this is not scam, but when I leave then sign back in, it shows in the scam folder again. I called AOl and they said there was nothing they could do about it, which is a b.s. answer. Please fix this

  5. AOL Desktop Gold - deleting issue

    I want to have option to continuously delete e-mails with out opening each e-mail. The blue highlight keeps on disappearing after I delete the previous e-mail

    Please note : This was never a problem in many of the past years I have been on AOL. This is a New Problem.

  7. I changed font in mail to 18; stays for a few wks then goes back to 10....annoying.

    Would appreciate font staying at the one I chose -- not to change, by itself, to a different font.

  8. I need to be able to open two+ emails and have them side by side to compare! Instead, all emails open up in the same box. Terrible!!!!

    Every email should open in their own window. You can not compare emails or perform other tasks involving two emails when you can only see one at a time. This needs to be addressed immediately since it is a major problem. I have been an AOL paid subscriber since the 1990s, but this problem has me seriously considering leaving unless it gets fixed immediately! I am in the travel business, and not being able to compare side by side emails is a major inconvenience.

  15. Why can I not be able to choose the font, boldness, inclination that i want and retain that choice???

    I want to be able to choose and retain the font, boldness, inclination that I prefer without having to choose it again and again every time i write an email. Even after I choose the font I want... sometimes it will revert back the one I opted out of.... PLEASE CORRECT THIS FEATURE.... A.S.A.P

  16. The constant changes are clearly deleting many good features. If it is already available and it is used, why change it. More options needed

    I want to access all mail like the past, page by page. I need to research previous responses constantly.

    THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, WHEN YOU KEEP RAISING THE PRICE, TO $34.95 NOW, AND HAVE STRIPPED AOL COMPLETELY, BUT NOW IT WORKS WORSE THAN IN THE PAST 25 YEARS!!!!!
    FIX THIS GARBAGE DESKTOP GOLD NOW!!!!!!!!
    AOL IS RIPPING EVERYONE OFF, AT $34.95 AND NOTHING WORKS, WORSE THAN EVER BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. Need AOL Desktop Gold Help

    Last updated to 11.1.4575 over a year ago and now it will not load or update?
    Also, cannot use new installer as it is ignored because it sees I have AOL Gold.

    How can I get my 11.1.4840 (5/5/25) update and get my program to work?

    You can use the AOL Desktop Gold OS system Tray icon (lower right-hand corner of Windows)


    Right click on the AOL Desktop Gold icon in your system tray and select the "Check for updates" command. This can sometimes take up to 5 minutes depending on your internet connection.


    Alternatively, you can uninstall AOL Desktop Gold from your Add Remove applications settings in Windows. Then install the latest version of AOL Desktop Gold.

  19. Desktop Gold Font

    aol gold freeses often. i try to reply, but the page the sender wrote doea not appear. often it blank. so I must use Chrom to replay their mail. Font size got smaller and gray scale, I had to change. All those things happened recently. Also it got very slow and sometimes does not open. I mostly use Chrom AOL. I am paying for Gold. You must fix it.

  20. No longer able to save a composed email draft

    There is no longer an option to save a composed email draft??? Even when I right click, there isn't any AOL option or feature that allows me to save this draft. When I exit out of the draft, there was an automatic prompt asking if I wanted to save it. Now, there is nothing and the email just goes away.
    I can not even save it as a file!

    Additionally, when I read the comments that other users have posted about this identical problem, that issue has been been closed by AOL and voting is blocked for other AOL subscribers…
