  1. Carousel on Aol Desktop Gold

    my computer was hacked and after that my aol desktop gold not orking properly the carousel on the aol desktop gold is too small and whe i print an email as per tech support report a bug but theres also an error message

  2. Number of SPAM e-mails used to be displayed in "inbox" (same as for # new e-mails,old e-mails,etc). Please reinstate this feature.

    Reinstate display of NUMBER of SPAM e-mails. Tech told me that you have eliminated this.The number of old e-mails, new e-mails, drafts, etc. are all shown. I'd also like to know when SPAM has been received so I can remember it.

    AOL 8.0 allowed members change the background of the AOL desktop different designs like fire place, spring background images and also members could change the color of the toolbar. Please bring back this cool tool.

  4. Windows 10 was updated and AOL doesn't display favorites in toolbar or save sites passwords.

    Support already ended conversation without solving problem. Very disappointed in Tech support.

  5. auto suggest

    Is it possible to turn off the autocomplete function of the toolbar? I DO NOT like the way everything I have searched for shows in a drop down box everytime I type into the toolbar.
    Previous versions of aol allowed this autocomplete function to be turned off.
    For privacy & security reasons... this should be fixed.

    Please try to clear the Footprints in the new AOL Desktop. Here’s how you clear the Footprints: a. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu. b. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.

  6. Please add a Ship Icon to the inventory of Icons for the customized Tool Bar.

    Try to clear the Footprints.

    Here’s how :

    a. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu.

    Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Open the AOL Desktop Gold and sign in.
    2. Go to the Keyword (press CTRL+K): add a favorite
    3. In the ‘Search for a shortcut’ box type: Calendar
    4. Right-click on the calendar shortcut, from the list below, and select ‘Add to Toolbar’.

  9. Chat room on GOLD

    I am not able to use the ENTER button to send message in chat room. I have to hit the SEND button in the chat room for my message to appear. It would be better to able to hit the ENTER button. I was able to use the ENTER button before the last update.

    In order to use the Enter key to send messages in Chatrooms, please follow these steps:

    1. Open AOL Desktop Gold and sign in.
    2. Click Edit on the top left and select General Settings from the drop-down.
    3. Click Chat Rooms on the left side of the Settings window.
    4. Check “Use Enter key to send message”.
    5. Close the Settings window, and the change will be automatically saved.
