  1. Webcam

    AOL is requesting access to my webcam about every two hours. This is an invasion of privacy, and I have blocked all such requests in the future. What have you been doing with my image and sound????? And to think that I PAY for this???? You're going to lose a 30-year user to another service pretty soon....

  2. Get immensely better at what you are supposed to be doing

    You have been shut off now for 20 minutes and I have no access. Three other browsers are working. This is unacceptable and I will now begin looking for a new source of internet after using AOL solely since getting the internet many, many years ago. ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Restore AOL Gold

    Restore AOLGold
    Make it easier to switch computers and still find AOL Gold. We upgraded to new laptop with Win 10 and now AOL Gold is missing we can't figure out how to get AOL Gold on this computer.

  4. AOL Gold text

    AOL Gold text, both email and anything using AOL interface is terrible!
    fonts are jagged, thin and basically unreadable!
    Find myself using gmail more often as the clarity of it's text is excellent.
    Please correct or you will lose another subscriber!

  5. Crashes by typing anything

    Each time I want to type something within the AOL software (regardless of whether writing an e-mail, searching for something, typing an url into the browser) it stumbles ans crashes completely. Seems to have an allergy against my keyboard or ANY keyboard.

    Best example is RIGHT THIS message I was forced to type with an alternative browser/software. Within AOL this would'nt have been possible to type! Several crushes would have been necessary to finish this short text.

    Do something right now! It's really aweful!

  6. Another problem with AOL Gold

    In the previous version of AOL (a thousand times better than this Gold Version), there was System Information, which I could use to refresh AOL if it stopped working well, and to get rid of bugs. When AOL Gold was installed, AOL System Information stopped working every time I tried to access it. Finally I uninstalled Gold and reinstalled it. Now System Information is missing completely. How can I get it back in working order, the way it was in the previous version?

  7. Why is it that the DELETE button does not work any more when viewing emails in the inbox????

    Stop the constant multi Mbyte of downloads to update your terrible advertising content. We pay for the AOL email service, we do not expect constantly being bombarded with advertising.

  8. Can't sign up with the "Oath"

    You can't read any of the Articles because of the Heavy bombardment of Pop Up advertisement. Yet, you want us to sign up with the "Oath". As a paying customer, I see no improvement in Service. In fact it's worse. When are you going to clean up your pages??????

  10. remove Datamask by AOL

    I need to know how to remove DataMask by AOL. After it was installed, PC slowed from 70 download to 9 download speeds. Write mail has been a headache spending more time on correcting words, spaceing and sentence structure. Dell and FIOS say it is the AOL GOLD and DataMask issue. 6 months ago I was on WIN 7 and Gold with no speed or write mail or missing incoming mail. If this is not the problem will reinstall.

  11. internal server error keeps on coming upon my screen. can't access my benefits

    what is wrong with my aol account. I have not accessed it for awhile but I continue to get an internal server error message on my screen. But I can still access my emails

  12. Font is not legible--help!

    The font is barely legible, as you can see. People getting my emails are complaining that they are too difficult to read. I can't read them either. This applies to non-email text on Gold. It looks like pixels are missing. I talked to a techie in Phillipines, but he couldn't fix it. He seemed surprised by my problem and said he had not heard of it before me. He suggested I come to this forum.

  14. Check for Updates is STILL not working.

    Check for updates does nothing. The previous answer to the previous asking of this question does not tell me if my AOL Gold NOW is up to date, since the answer has no date in it. (Poking around finally shows that it is more than a year old.)

  16. The secure WiFi program is worthless. Have 5 bars and your program fails every time.

    It would be nice if the secure public WIFi program actually worked. It did work a little for a while. Kept dropping out and now doesn't work at all. The connectivity test passes but the program fails to connect at all. I have a solid 5 bars on a campground WIFi but can not connect at all to your WiFi security software. It's worthless so far!!

  17. McAfee not user friendly

    I am enrolled in McAfee Security as provided via AOL Gold. I am not very happy with McAfee. When I initiate a scan of my computer, the app runs for hours with out any indication of what it is doing, finding or how far along it is on the completion of the scan. The old Super Antivirus Spyware was a much more user friendly and informative app.

  20. Need installer

    Not sure how but my son lost AOL gold on his computer it's a blank white icon, we tried downloading online but it wants me to pay for another membership? Copied the installer from my laptop to a flash drive tried installing it tells us that both my screenname and his are not valid on the client or something along those lines. I pay for AOL every month, it's not due to be paid for a few days... How can I reinstall his aol gold so that he doesn't lose anything he saved on aol?
