Idiot video loops
Just tried the Honest to Paws story, and every page had a short video loop. Very unnecessary! Also distracting. I suppose some young dudes think it is cute, but I dont.

2... PASTE, CUT UNDO, DOESNT WORK FROM THE MENU ONLY FROM THE MOUSE..
3... SPELL CHECK ONLY WORKS 50% OF TIME.
4... EMAIL PAGE CAN BE REDUCED BY 0.5" OLD AOL ALLOWED EMAIL PAGE 80% REDUCTION. VERY USEFULL FEATURE, FOR DOING REPORTS SIDE BY SIDE.
5.... EMAIL FREEZE4S & DOESNT SEND FOR 1-3 MINUTES, OR WONT SEMD AT ALL. :-( :-( :-(.

Why was the ability to send ecards and pictures from AOL removed? That was one of it's best features for me!

To AOL ENGINEERS, how you do not see the problems that the new version of gold AOL has generated and the technology department can not fix, according to them because the problem wasn't created by them, I velieve, they always try hard to solve our problems, and it hurts that after so many years we have to change the email address.

Answer to question from anonymous re icons in mailbox
The envelope icons just mean mail. The envelope items with the little darker box at the right are emails that have images (pictures or graphics) in them. I'm not sure but if there is a link in the email, you may also get the icon with the little darker box.

Search in mail folders not working right
When I enter a set of letters such as "abc" or "cde" in userid "abcdefg@xyz.com" or the "abc" in the subject "this Labcoat", That email WILL BE FOUND and highlighted..
BUT, when trying to find "Un" or "know" in "UnknownSendfer@UnknownDomain , These are NEVER Found
Nor will the seach for "know' in subject line with "do you know" on one of those "unknown..." sender emailsThe search acts as if the blind copy emails ( Unknownsender ) don't exist.

Clearing Footprints again.
I recently posted about clearing footprints when signing off here, got this response:
Please follow these steps to enable Automatically Clearing the Browser Cache when closing the AOL Desktop:
- In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu.
- Check the box next to “Clear Browser Cache on Exit” from the Browser Settings window.
- When you’re finished, simply close the settings window because changes are now saved automatically.
-----It does not work, it doesn't clear all of the items checked.

Opening Inbox
Would like the inbox to open when i open AOL Gold. It doesn't now. Maybe in the next update we can choose to have the inbox open automatically.

Top line - Edit - Find in Top Window .. Needs count
When using the Find in Top Window (A VERY useful tool!)
there is NO count of items found. When the searched for word is NOT in the top window, no indication is given (i.e. Not Found!) and when many are found, well same thing - no count.. -

I would suggest that on the 'write mail' screen that the 'B' for bold be light colored in the normal mode and dark when on bold print.
It's backwards now. It is dark on normal and really light on bold.
