Access to contacts
When my phone is stolen or lost I would like to access my contacts I have saved on my email

Hi there. You can access and edit contacts in the app. To do this, please tap on the 3 dots (More) menu, tap Contacts. To add a new contact, please tap on the ''+'' icon. To edit one, tap on it then tap the 3 dots menu to edit, share, copy to clipboard or delete contact.

i lost some of my contacts and distribution lists over the last 2 months and was told AOL does not back up their servers for more than 7 days and that is only emails.
I have been a long time customer and I distinctively remember losing data years ago and it was more than seven days but AOL was able to recover it.
What has happened to the AOL I used to know and was I given the correct information?
