Hi there, we are continually making changes to improve your experience. For advanced settings, go to mail.aol.com on a desktop computer and create filters under Mail Settings. You can filter incoming mail to go into Trash or Spam.

    Should be able to block specific phrases or words like older versions....or be able to block "newsletter@" type spam....

    Computer generated spam/phishing emails should be blocked by aol.

    I don't want to block all email, just email that arrives from a sender I don't know nor subscribed to. Please add filter option to make that possible.

    block *** or anything related from making to emails. people with kids that play on their parents phone can get to those nasty virus...

    once I mark an email as SPAM I would like you to block that sender from sending me more email. i do not want to unsubscribe from thousands of emails. just block them from my mail.

    allow unwanted sites to be locked from sending spam/phishing - something aol should be doing to protect its customers by default

    Follow through! identify and block the sender. Reply to me and others. Post a general notice not to open the spam email.

    Permanent delete, do not send, at my AOL email in which AOL has control, no one else. I do not visit such sites, so I do not need solicitation.
