Old format so much better.
Old format was much easier to use. Was it really necessary to change?

Bring back old format. I'm not "woke" enough to be forced to have to watch streaming news when all I want is email and my saved folders, ie receipts and other important and vital documents and information. How presumptuous of a company to wipe out my saved info. Just give myself AND other long time users the option. Did someone sitting in an office somewhere wake up one day and say to themselves "what can I do today to **** off millions of people?"

Please, please, please go back to the old layout and design for the Android app. This new version is not as user-friendly, leaves more room for accidental deletions, missed messages, and makes it more difficult to compose messages and is just more confusing. I can't fully express just how much I hate, hate, hate this new version. Whoever thought it was an improvement on the old one is mistaken.

i am terribly aggrieved with the new AOL software format you forced on us without the option to at least revert back to old far more user friendly format.
I spoke with a person from your help desk who was not able to explain the problem you me and referred me to your technical support for which I was charged $30. I spent many hours trying to get the old icon and its related software back. Even your tech support did not share with me the information that the software has been permanently changed.
The new email format has more white space than it has text. There are numerous unnecessary blank lines portraying no information. The star notation on the right does not toggle on or off.
The news feed is similarly flawed as the pictures take up way too much space leaving a lot of blank space that could otherwise be used for textual information.
I think you really missed the mark on this upgrade. -

No color is necessary. keep it B&W. Emails should not be a Crayola art project. I just want my messages. No bells and whistles. Time is precious. Just deliver the messages. I don't need colorful Text circles with bold font initials. Simple is best.

Bring back screen rotation so I can read text-dense emails on my phone. If I have to change to another device just to read email, it may finally get me off AOL.

Go back to the way it was. It takes FOREVER for today's email to load when I first open it for the day especially on my phone. I don't need fancy icons for every piece of junk mail I receive that just takes up space and memory. Before I had it set-up so when I selected AOL my email came up and I'd look at the news ONLY if I wanted to, which 99.9% of the time I Don't look at your "news” because it's Junk! And it's WORSE on my phone!
With This New Junk When I Try To Read My Email On My Phone For The First Time Of The Day It Only Shows Yesterday's Email And Reloading The Page Doesn't Help By Its Self. I Then Have To Select An Email From Yesterday And The 2 Actions Together Will Bring Up Today's Email. Although all of this only takes a minute or so The Point Is It Did NOT Do That Before Your Update!!!!
You must not have heard the old saying "if it's not broke don't fix it" because it wasn't broke until you"fixed” it!!! Please give back my old AOL!
