Old format so much better.
Old format was much easier to use. Was it really necessary to change?

it would be better to have an option of using the old format. marking things as unread does not work. there are features I used often that are no longer there and some that are more difficult to access. this is just from an initial use. There may be more problems as I use it more.

I also don't like that my contacts and email addresses for recipients no longer pop up when I start typing them out. So if I do not have someone's email address completely memorized, I can no longer send them an email! Ridiculous! In all previous formats, when you begin to type out the email address, all email addresses of people you have sent to previously pop up and then you can select the correct one. That no longer happens. That is extremely inconvenient and not helpful at all. It has actually hindered me from sending several emails, forcing me to do searches in the old email and sent email folders to try and locate the actual full email addresses and then have to memorize or copy and paste them into the new email I want to send. I don't know who thought this was a good idea but they should be fired. Additionally, I don't like that we not only had no choice but no warning. Aol was just fine one night and then I woke up the next morning to this new format. No warning, no choice. Not a fan at all. I can see that many other people are giving the same feedback so I truly hope that AOL takes this into consideration and gets rid of this new version. It needs to go. The old/previous version worked well. No update or change was needed.
