Old format so much better.
Old format was much easier to use. Was it really necessary to change?

When I move or delete an email it leaves the 'unread mail' list but if I select the next email down (from directly below where the deleted/moved mail was) the moved/deleted mail opens. If I open the 3rd mail down, the 2nd opens and do on. I have to quit the app and reopen to actually open the email I'm selecting.
This also applies to emails I'm attempting to mark as unread/read (btw, the new system for that is just horribe).
I've been paying, yes paying, for AOL for over 20 years. This is the worst, least helpful, least intuitive and slowest iteration of an interface I've experienced in that time. Very, very poor and massively frustrating. It makes something as simple and straightforward as reading and filing my emails (surely the absolute point of the app) 20 times slower and 100 times more frustrating (should the process of opening and filing/deleting one's emails be even 1% frustrating? I think not).
And why am I getting undeletable advertising in my mailbox when I pay for the service?

See my comment above - and other people feel the same. It's easy on a laptop but not on a phone!

I don't want all the aol "stuff" but I do want a place to check both my AOL mailboxes AND add in my Gmail account. Motorola only has Gmail and it's not easy to bring AOL into it. I really miss the email app from my LG and Samsung phones!

I agree - the old format for the emails on the AOL app on android was SO much easier to follow - can you please bring it back?! So many changes/issues that are too many to list here - makes it so much more difficult to follow email threads and see people's responses. I prefer the most recent comment at the top of the thread, not the bottom Just one of many items I could list. I agree with a user's comment below "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!".
