AOL Mail password reset procedure
Go to the AOL Mail login page.
Enter your AOL username.
If you don't remember your AOL username, go to the Sign-in Assistant page, enter your email or recovery phone number, then follow the instructions to retrieve your username.
Click Next.

Click I forgot my password.
Forgot password
Choose one of the password reset options. Depending on how you set up your account, you can choose your phone number or email address. If you do not have access to any of them, select "I need more options."
Enter the code sent to your phone or backup email address.
Select Create New Password to reset your AOL Mail password. Check out the tips below to help you remember your password.
Enter the verification code, then select Verify.
Sign in to your AOL Mail account using your new password.
You can always try your browser
The current versions of most internet browsers offer an autocomplete feature. You will see this the first time you enter your username and password on a password protected site. The browser usually presents a popup asking if you want to save your login information.
