fix the third party mail app one time password generator, please
pop imap emails
Due to some recent changes designed to improve the safety of our platforms and member privacy, we’ve made the process to create App Specific Passwords more secure. This can result in some difficulty when trying to set up an ASP from a new device.
Please ensure that you try creating an app password without using an Incognito browser and use a browser where you have signed into that account in the past, for at least a couple of days. If this is not successful, there may not be a workaround; as we don't know if or when this feature will be available, we encourage you to use Webmail or the AOL app to access your email.

Email stopped populating Windows Outlook on desktop and laptop and Samsung mail. A windows security popup is asking for a password but will not accept my aol password. Aol mail security settings will not generate an app password. Says feature not available at this time. Aol will not provide assistance unless I agree to pay for it.

I've had a paid AOL account for nearly 30 years and have had outlook running on top of my mail for decades. now I get a new phone & can't do that so all my email files in Outlook are orphaned. this stinks - if I have to redirect everyone to my Gmail address now to use outlook I'll eventually just go to the free AOL mail
