Add option to open all email links in default browser such as Chrome. App is not obeying Samsung tablet settings to use default browser.
The AOL app on Android keeps opening links in email using its built-in browser even when Samsung tablet tells app to use default browser such as Chrome. Add option to open links in emails using an external default browser such as Chrome.

When I click a link received in an email, it does not launch my Chrome browser as it should (I have set that app setting appropriately). Instead it either launches a browser-looking page within the AOL app or it returns an error message, "this webpage is not available...." To troubleshoot, I have already cleared the cache on the AOL app, forced a stop, and closed and re-opened the app. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the AOL app. I continue to encounter the same issues. Lastly I have found one work-around: hard-pressing the link or button in the email and then (with a different finger) clicking "open in browser" on the URL that displays in the short menu that temporarily appears. This is not a long-term solution, but it works and I guess is similar to right-clicking the link/button on a computer and selecting "open in new tab."

Open emails to browser not in AOL app. Or at least give people the choice. If this isn't sorted soon, I'll have to delete my account, as it's driving me MAD

This is so frustrating and time wasting. I want my emails to open in my browser, NOT the aol app. Please resolve this ASAP.

Yes. Why and how did this happen? I may have to uninstall if this is how it functions.

Whoever thought opening links in the AOL browser was a good idea needs their heads examining. Dreadful!!

absurd that AOL would default to opening EVERY link in their own app. Can't open calendar invites, app links, or anything without extra clicks. Terrible idea for a greedy company to get private data and sell it. FIX IT!

There was an update that caused links to open in the AOL app instead of their related home app or the default browser. PLEASE CORRECT THIS.

Webpages/links opening through AOL instead of default browser is causing me a lot of headache. Something changed that it does this now.
And if you tap and hold the link it pops up the full link and an option to open in browser, but that's still causing a lot of issues. -

there should be a setting to allow all links to open in default/chosen browser. I don't need AOL tracking every link I click!

browser doesn't work properly even after uninstall and reinstall. I click on the address in the email and it won't open, shows unavailable. I have to forward the email to my work email address in order to open anything including my online bill payment accounts.

I hate that I can't open links in chrome. The links inside AOL app do not work most of the time! I'm going to another email if this persists.
