How can we improve the AOL App?

'I want the ability to override dark mode while reading my mail. That use to be an option.' has been merged into this idea

The update does not allow color mode setting on app to be the same as the phone. please fix this.

Hi there, Dark Mode can be switched on or off through the Themes menu. If you encounter any issues let us know at help.aol.com.

    I like dark mode for my phone in general but not for AOL mail. I used to be able to override dark mode in settings but lost that ability with the last update. I'd like that option again.

    Dark mode option seems to have disappeared for Android app. You can still set it by using dark mode on your phone, but if I do that it messes with my phone theme so I much prefer to set dark mode within my individual apps. This along with links no longer opening in Chrome browser after the last update has me searching for alternative apps to access my emails.

    I want to turn my screen back to black with white writing I did have it and it went off no access to change it the site is now awful on home news if you press entertainment etc it stays the same on all of them

    Same here. I have my device set to dark mode by default, but I used AOL in light mode.

    Now I automatically get AOL dark as well when I want it light.

    Use to be a button to chose dark or light theme. Now its GONE!!!!

    To "solve" this I just downloaded the old Nov '25 release from apkpure, and then used xapk installer from Google Play to install the old version. Got light mode back until AOL fixes this themselves

    AOL was showing as a dark theme like my phone (Phil 7) but all of the sudden it stop working.

    Pixel 9 pro with latest update is set to work in dark mode , but AOL app with " Match device's theme settings" selected would still stay in light mode.
