Add option to open all email links in default browser such as Chrome. App is not obeying Samsung tablet settings to use default browser.

The AOL app on Android keeps opening links in email using its built-in browser even when Samsung tablet tells app to use default browser such as Chrome. Add option to open links in emails using an external default browser such as Chrome.

    This is a defect, this should be a prod issue that should be handed as an incident. I worked for CompuServe/AOL and have had this account since the 90's. I'm ready to move on.

    Das ist keine Idee sondern eine "Beschwerde" und ich brauche auch keine Fadenscheinige Antwort. Ändern sie es einfach wieder, damit meine Links wieder normal funktionieren !!

    PLEASE fix this! I can't open links within emails to reset my password for apps. It was fine until recently. please undo whatever coding was done that's causing this! Sooo frustrating!!!

    Works fine with gmail or through browser. Formatting issues too. Cant see space to type in password. Keyboard covers space. Samsung says my phone is fine 2 x. Called AOL 4x. Also getting error messages for longtime password inputs

    i understand the idea that it's to help protect from suspicious links, but like why can I not at least have a setting to open things in my browser or related apps. This change has fully broken all the links to email notifications for media sites I follow and it's just incredibly frustrating.

    When will this fault be rectified. Until recently the app was great, but since this change to open links in the AOL app and not system browser has been forced upon us , it is infuriating. I want my links to open in system browser NOT some AOL browser. Please fix ASAP

    THE LINKS NO LONGER ALLOW YOU TO ACCESS CRITICAL FORMS, WEBSITE CONTENT, OR UPDATES IN MESSAGES! AS A PHYSICIAN, I CANNOT ACCESS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT LINKS TO ACCESS SPECIFIC CONTENT OR FORMS OR WEBPAGES THAT ARE SENT SPECIFICALLY TO ME AND REQUIRE IMMEDIATE ACTION!!!!! The new update keeps each step of a link in a chain so if you need to enter a code for 2 step verification, which the above mentioned professional content requires, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO READ A NEW EMAIL MESSAGE WITH A CODE BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO BACKTRACK THROUGH ALL OF THE CHAINS FROM THE ORIGINAL MESSAGE LINK, AND WHEN YOU GET BACK TO THE INBOX TO READ THE CODE, YOU HAVE NOW LOST YOUR ACCESS TO THE SECURE CONTENT REQUIRING THAT CODE, AND YOU HAVE TO START THE WHOLE PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN, AND IT WILL NEVER WORK BECAUSE TO READ A CODE SENT BY EMAIL TO ACCESS CONTENT FROM A LINK IN ANOTHER EMAIL, THE CODE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BECOME VOID WHEN YOU HAVE TO RESTART THE CHAIN FROM THE LINK! THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND PROFESSIONALLY DAMAGING TO FAIL ACCESS TO TIME SENSITIVE ACTIONS!!!!
    FIX THIS NOW AOL!

    I also am having problems opening links in my default browser. Please please please fix this AOL. It is VERY frustrating and inconvient.

    agreed with this sentiment. this is a problem for both convenience and Internet security. causing issues when I have links I need to open
