  1. Notifications

    • Notifications say "New Email" but does not say who the sender is.

    • Changed settings to show only 1 line of body, but it remains to show 3 lines

    I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:

    1. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
    2. Restart your mobile device
    3. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
    4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data

  2. Why can’t we not attach jpg pictures

    When we attach a picture from our library why is always a photo.heic that nobody can open? Pretty frustrating

    Please make sure that the pictures you are trying to attach are in supported formats. If you are still having issues, a quick uninstall and reinstall of the app should fix that,

  3. Screen not responding to touch

    Page loads. I can see my emails but I can’t scroll down to see more not can I open an email or swipe left to delete

    Ad banner is also frozen.

  4. Where the &$%# is “mail”?

    How about a tab called “Login” or “Mail” where you can actually check aol email? What happened???

  5. Changing cities

    I can’t change my location to San Jacinto, CA from San Diego, CA.

    San Jacinto doesn’t even come up on the list. When I type in San Jacinto on the weather page and press ‘save changes’ it still goes back to San Diego

  6. It wasn’t broken!

    So, now, all that was good about the app is gone. I can’t read the type(yes, I adjusted the size), can’t search for flagged items and many more issues. I don’t know what you thought you were doing, but it is a HUGE FAIL!

  8. Logging in

    This is to something that was posted on logging in on 5/7/19. I have tried deleting the AOL app and reinstalled it. I have tried backing up my phone and deleting and resetting my phone and I still can’t set up AOL mail. Every time I go into the app it states something went wrong try again later. I have deleted and reinstalled everything. Thanks

    Are you able to log in by going to mail.aol.com using an external browser? If yes, please try switching the internet connection from WiFi to cellular data or vice-versa.

  9. Logging in

    Yesterday my mail would not update. I signed out and deleted the AOL app and reinstalled the app. I tried to log back into AOL and after I type my password the screen goes to Apple.com shopping page. I can search Apple products but I cannot still back.

  10. Foreign language

    How can I and where do I go to change the iPhone 6 language setting for my emails? All of a sudden my emails have started coming in another language even though the settings pertaining to language show as United States and English.

    My account was hacked jazblue@ aol.com please send me the exact address where my account was open from where the exact address I need because someone hacked me from another iPhone XS max she logged me out many times in the day please let me know the address I know her name is Rosa Delgado she have a long criminal record in New York and she is living in Weston Florida but the things are worse she robbed me too in my country with my ex husband Daniel Diz and she is coming inside my house robbed me and attacking…

    If unwanted junk mail is getting through your filters, the best way to stop it is to mark it as spam, under the ‘More’ menu.

    For advanced settings, go to mail.aol.com on a desktop computer and create filters under Mail Settings. You can filter incoming mail to go to the folders where you want them — or, make unwanted mail from specific senders go straight into Trash or Spam. Note: You can create up to 50 filters.

    Good day , Im unable to view my e mails using the IOS app , the idea is that ,, yes I can view the email but not “ entirely “ ... meaning if the email has large view... than I cannot view the whole email just like if im opening my email using an odnerery internet browser,,, kindly update the app so it can be work properly.     Here’s how to manage notifications:

    1. Tap the Settings icon in the bottom navigation bar.

    2. Under “App Settings,” tap Notifications.

    3. Tap the Toggle button to select which notification you’d like to receive.

    4. Tap the Back icon Image of the Back icon, when you’re finished to return to the app settings.

  16. Account spoofing

    My account is always receiving emails from myself. This is because my account has been spoofed and in the email you receive are people asking for money. Why not just be able to stop spoofing of your own account? Or when I send a copy of the email to your customer support, actually doing something about it.

    Quiero enviar un correo electrónico y me dice que la dirección esta incorrecta cuando está correcta y no me deja enviar. Soy nuevo en AOL y no me es satisfactorio desde el principio.

    Please make sure you type the entire email address, including @domain.com at the end. If you received any emails from this address in the past, check the spelling of the email address to make sure it is correct.

    Please go to mail.aol.com from a desktop computer and try to log in with your account. If you can access your it, then go to the AOL app, remove your account, restart your device, then add the account again.

  19. GLITCH—Forwarded email not to correct person

    I forwarded an email to one person but found later it went to a saved group. In my sent folder the email still shows just the one recipient, not the group but the group sees other email recipients. This is apparently a glitch in the app that needs correcting!!

    We recommend asking one of the group members to forward to you the email they received (including the mail header), to make sure the email originated from your mailbox, and was not auto-forwarded for another recipient.
