My emails
Why are my emails going to my spam folder? Important emails about my Verizon account and other things are going to the spam folder. Why are you doing that when my account is a Verizon account you acquired? I’m missing out on my emails because AOL is taking it upon themselves to decide what is a spam email or not. And in every case, you’re wrong!
By marking messages as Spam or Not Spam you are customizing your personal Spam filter to learn what is spam and what is not.
Emails will be tagged as a spam depending on the behavior it was sent or on the spam controls of the recipient. If there are links, images or phrases that AOL Mail service deemed as a spam based on the complaints of other members, it will automatically go to spam folder. If the mail was sent as a mass mail, it will automatically go to the spam folder as well.
Also, please make sure this email address is added to your Contacts list.

Driving me crazy all my old emails are just being deleted to my trash folder!! I don’t want this and can’t find settings to change this!!

My old mail keeps disappearing into the trash, I do not put it there. Now my trash only goes back so many days and I cannot retrieve emails.

I haven”t been receiving very many emails lately. Upon checking my spam folder for something, I found emails from friends, political candidates I follow, websites I visit - all in spam without my ever seeing them!!! This is not right! Stop doing it! Linda Dawson

1. My new mail gets sent randomly to the trash folder. I have to check the Trash AND the Inbox for new mail.
2. My App constantly crashes and I have to restart.
3. I will constantly get a message that I have been signed off and need to sign in again...after I hit the cancel button 3-10 times it finally lets me check my messages.
4. I believe my sign in has been compromised more than once according to my credit report. I have changed my password several times in the last year or so.
I have been an aolmail user for about 20 years and I’m afraid I’m going to have to close my account and switch to a different email provider. Once I get all the necessary saved emails forwarded to a new email it’ll be no more Aolmail. Unless someone can fix the issue rather quick please??? Thank you for your time. -

My emails are going into my spam folder! How is this happening? I would never have noticed it if the folder didn’t show the amount of emails within. As to your comment below about training the spam folder—WRONG. This is the first time my emails haves landed there—140 at one time... some of these are important. I know about trading the spam folder. That happens over a period of time, not all at once!

My mail box keeps putting most of my NEW mail into the TRASH folder. It never use to!
So disappointing.
I / we have used AOL since when We first went on line well before the year 2000, because we had a disc posted through our letter box and it was so simple to use as it set itself up, brilliant.
Especially after all the trouble with UK’s BT expensive phone calls to no Avail! -

Emails from trusted contacts are going directly to the SPAM folder. This is extremely frustrating.

I do not understand how or why the junk filter works. Every so often a message from a source I regularly receive mail is put in the junk folder. Last night was one of those times and I missed a time critical email. How can I turn off your junk filter?

My work emails and even some others such as Amazon notifications are coming in spam. I have continually marked not spam, added email to my contacts and nothing works. My work says it’s on my end but I can figure out. Help please

My business phone sends messages from voicemails straight to my email, unfortunately they always go to spam.
