Updated and now won’t open PDF files
SO FRUSTRATING! My iPad updated and now I can’t open PDF files in the AOL app. Everything was basically fine before, except that emails would disappear when I tapped on them and they’d appear in old mail. Yeah, that’s annoying. Basically AOL sucks, but I’ve had it so long, I don’t want to bother with changing email addresses. I pay for this, so you’d think they’d actually have their act together. Apparently not. And the desktop version is even worse. So much for advanced technology.
I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:
1. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
2. Restart your mobile device
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile data
