Let me receive my AOL emails on my mail app for the iPhone. This AOL app isn’t what I want to use to receive and send my emails.
I want my AOL emails to return to my iPhone mail app. I don’t want to use your AOL app. Pretty sneaky of AOL to decide for me how I choose to receive a send emails. Especially on Christmas Day I want nothing to do with your app yet you force me to do so to get my emails on my iPhone. Extremely rotten of you to do so Once again you did it on Christmas Day. As if I don’t have anything better to do than spend 2 plus hours calling researching and being told to pay a fee to talk to a technician that might be able to help me. ROTTEN ROTTEN ROTTEN AOL PEOPLE. 👎🏿👎🏾👎🏽👎🏼👎🏻👎.

This ap is the pits! I can’t click on some of the links, I can’t post anything to Pinterest if I click on the link, half of my news items don’t have the pictures by the item, just grey boxes. If you’re going to demand that we use this awful ap, you need to upgrade it before 10/20.

Well, from what I've read here, the coming required "security" update on 20 Oct is nothing more than a poorly designed way of pumping more ads to your AOL user community, of which I have been a member for 30 years. So, I'm not going to make the so-called "update" and see exactly what does happens come 20 Oct. Maybe I'll continue to pay my $5/mo to AOL or maybe I'll just switch everything to my gmail account, which I have also had for many years. So AOL, think about what you are in the process of doing to your long-time user community, and sow you seeds accordingly. What a shame, I actually enjoyed having people display pleasant surprise when I'd give them my AOL email address.

AOL’s APP is cumbersome and difficult. Now, I have gone back to using Mail that came on my iPhone. Even better are Gmail and Yahoo Mail.

Don’t like this app. Hard to use. Agree with all the other problems. Don’t like the ads. Want to just access my mail on apple like before. Works really well for me. Have been an aol member for 30 years

My last 8 months of my inbox have disappeared. No support. App is awful. Customer service shocking - doesn’t seem to exist. Can someone please help. There seems no way to retrieve my information. Very concerned. Did what you asked - downloaded the App - wish I hadn’t. Please rectify ASAP.

Hate it. Don’t know how to add contacts. My list didn’t transfer over. An old list from years ago appears. What the heck? I can’t delete them either. After all these years why change what wasn’t broken? Considering another email account. I don’t need an AOL app!!!!!!

I’m asked to sign in on my iPad but tells me to try later as something went wrong. I previously changed to the app from my Apple mail. My iPhone has the same issue but sporadic. My iPad stuck in “something went wrong”. Not keen on the ads at the top of my mail.

I liked the old app much better because it kept my old and new mail together. The new mail had its own designation ,while the old mail was missing it,very easy to identify. Please put the old and new mail part of application back together. Then you don’t have to toggle between both. Thanks.

I have been using AOL as my email address for several screen names since it was created. Prior to this roll out of having to use the AOL app exclusively for my emails, I was able to check all my accounts with one click of an icon. Now I have to switch to each separate email box to get my emails. This has not improved my experience. It is making me consider switching to another server. Is there some way to fix this?

I concur with the responses about the new aol mail for IPhone. I have used. aol for 30 years and am actively investigating alternate services. The new app’s functionality is much poorer than the soon to be replaced app.
Sad

Received an e-mail from AOL to change e-mail App due to new authentication system. I used the i-phone app. Thus installed the AOL app and I now get bombarded with ads despite strict data protection settings. What a nuisance! No wonder AOL looses clients.

Totally agree. Awful app. If you send pictures taken on an iPhone they arrive as .plist rather than .jpg file
Used AOL for many years but have to reconsider.
