Need help mail app

I noticed all my emails in “new” and “old” mail was in my trash mail. So I moved it to my inbox and went through the painful process of deleting/unsubscribing to emails that I wanted deleted. Mad a folder for emails that I needed to do a deeper dive to review to see if I have previously looked at and delete. Now when I go back into the old mail a number of emails I moved and deleted show back up in my old mail folder. I can tell by the date/sender of the email.

    POURQUOI votre application sur IPad ne me reconnaît plus , prétend que je n'existe sur aucun serveur alors que tout fonctionne sur site et Android??????

    I’ve haven’t seen any emails in days. I have important emails I need to read & respond from work. When opening my email, they disappear. Please fix this immediately
