Recover a account
My account is locked my password is not working and customer service is no help to recover a account I can’t verify my account due to a old number I have and all that customer service can do is say I can’t help you until you verify your account and I should have updated my account information. This is the worse customer service I ever had I am very disappointed with AOL. Customer service should be top priority and it’s not they are useless. How am I to verify my account if I can’t get on and change my information??…

Verizon is AOI
Keeps asking me to create an AOL account, we are using a Verizon email which is AOL. It also defaults to no account and sometimes won’t bring up the Verizon email. Need to be able to turn off this nagging.

My emails
Why are my emails going to my spam folder? Important emails about my Verizon account and other things are going to the spam folder. Why are you doing that when my account is a Verizon account you acquired? I’m missing out on my emails because AOL is taking it upon themselves to decide what is a spam email or not. And in every case, you’re wrong!
By marking messages as Spam or Not Spam you are customizing your personal Spam filter to learn what is spam and what is not.
Emails will be tagged as a spam depending on the behavior it was sent or on the spam controls of the recipient. If there are links, images or phrases that AOL Mail service deemed as a spam based on the complaints of other members, it will automatically go to spam folder. If the mail was sent as a mass mail, it will automatically go to the spam folder as well.
Also, please make sure this email address is added to your Contacts list.

2. Restart your mobile device
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version

Updated and now won’t open PDF files
SO FRUSTRATING! My iPad updated and now I can’t open PDF files in the AOL app. Everything was basically fine before, except that emails would disappear when I tapped on them and they’d appear in old mail. Yeah, that’s annoying. Basically AOL sucks, but I’ve had it so long, I don’t want to bother with changing email addresses. I pay for this, so you’d think they’d actually have their act together. Apparently not. And the desktop version is even worse. So much for advanced technology.

I’ve spent the past hour attempting to email support, find a contact email address for support, or have any kind of contact with the support and help departments to no avail. I’ve resorted to now leaving feedback publicly. Please make your support team more easily accessible.

I ant my email account back...
It’s been a long time since I received any AOL email. The reason being because someone smashed my phone. AOL will NOT give me my password that I can’t remember nor am I able to answer other questions in order to get my account back because I can’t remember the answers. Surely there has to be a way to compromise with h them to get my account back.
Obviously I had to change and I went with Yahoo. I have used AOL for many years. If I liked other servers I would have used them. But AOL is my choice…

Old inbox mail
I’m not able to access and read my old mails. Whenever a mail comes in and read, it automatically goes away instead of moving or staying in the old mail folder/section.
I have a couple of troubleshooting steps for you that should resolve this issue:
1. If you’re signed in, tap the Settings icon, tap Manage Accounts, then tap Edit, tap Remove
2. Restart your mobile device
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app with the latest version
4. Lastly, switch the internet connection from WiFi to mobile dataYou could also switch to the Unified Inbox view by following the steps in this article: https://help.aol.com/articles/how-do-i-switch-to-the-unified-inbox-view, and make sure that all the other email apps that are you using are set up as IMAP.

Why in the world have you not fixed this? Cannot open links within emails
I’m on iPad and iPhone and links will no longer open. There is also no way to now open a link in safari...not working for a year or so. WHY WON’T YOU FIX THIS!!!!

Secondary web links don’t open - very frustrating!
Original link in emails will open to websites but any secondary links do not open! Frustrating!
