ADS
I have been an AOL customer for a long time. I am tired of all the ADS. I cannot even browse without an AD interfering with my searches. Get rid of your ADS or maybe it is time for me to get rid of AOL.

AOL is NOTHING more than a commercials - pages and pages and pages of commercials. I ATTEMPTED to read the article on Alex Trebeck and his cancer and after AN HOUR AND A HALF I shut it down. The commercials kept freezing up my computer or jumping in on the screen. I NEVER did get thru the entire article. AOL - YOU ********* AND NEED TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS.

How in the **** is someone supposed to enjoy reading ANY of the articles on aol when they are constantly fighting to continue with the article with all the useless aggravating ads popping up? It took me almost 45 minutes to read the article about Chip and Joanna Gaines because the ads continually interrupted and I had to restart the article. For the love of all that is holy give us a break. Most of these useless ads are nothing but BS and nothing I would EVER buy. GET RID OF THEM!!!! We subscribers DID NOT sign up for this harrassment.

It is time to STOP with all the ads. A person cannot read a complete article in less than an hour because of all the ads freezing the computer. Apparently aol is more about the $$$$$$$ than customer convenience and satisfaction. Keep this up and you won't have to worry about customer complaints, because you won't have any customers left. I am currently looking into other companies. I would rather have to pay a small monthly fee than deal with all the ads.

I have been an aol subscriber for more years than I can remember and feel that aol is now ABUSING it's subscribers. One cannot even read a complete article in a timely manner because the ads cause gridlock and make it extremely time consuming. Oh yeah, we have been offered to have an ad free way to browse IF we PAY - doesn't that qualify for EXTORTION? I THINK IT DOES. I am looking into ditching aol and finding some other way - will NOT be yahoo, because they and aol are one and the same. aol used to be my first choice, NO LONGER it is now my last choice TIED with yahoo.

put the whole story on the page ,scroll up to continue reading with advertising columns on the right and left of story.
This will not frustrate readers like my self but should keep advertisers happy,
If you loose readers like my self you will not have advertisers -

Show more pop ups and ads so we won't be burdened by news; we can spend our time watching all those pretty spinning circles and you'll make tons more money.

This AM I opened AOL to the usual nice white screen w/just 8 icons. I get out and an hour later I go back and get various splash screen photos that fill the whole screen. Get rid of them and go back to simplicity!

I will never buy from WayFair. AD keeps popping up and it cannot be minimized. Annoying as ****. AOL has thrown its users to the curb in its ever growing greed for $.

Ditto. Your ads are non stop. One after another. I cannot read any article without getting bombarded by ads. Seems like I`m paying you to bombard me with ads. The Advantis ad is the worst. It blocks the page and you can`t get rid of it. It`s getting close to the time where I ditch AOL. It seems like your wants and needs supercede mine. I`m tired of it.

yes..eliminate all that aol shield, breaking news nuisances...recently I have been switching to msn, they are a lot more concise and don"t make you cancel the previously mentioned nuisances. Keep it easy to navigate through the different programs, pages, etc. Is getting boring to get info in aol.because of all the crud I have to cancel.

I use AOL mainly for email, but keep very slow and frustrating response times due to 'Long Running Scripts'. (appears to be from Yahoo) How can I stop these from starting to run?

Please remove the full size ads on your "Today on AOL". I like seeing the current news but don't like the full size faces from the ads taking up most of the page.

I pay $5.29 per month (no one else has a fee) and still I must endure your video autoloads and banner ads. Now, I just transferred my emails to another site and don't have to visit you at all. Nice going AOL.
