Make the "Chat About Trump" and the "Email Sign On" selection optional!

It is very difficult to scroll through a news story with the "Sign On" selection and the "Chat About Trump" displays on the right hand side of the screen. I don't want to listen to the video, I prefer reading the article. It's almost impossible to scroll down using a mouse of PGDN. I keep getting taken to the email sign on page!

    I like the chat about trump and am upset because today April 1st 2019 the chat won't open when you click it. The chat has nothing to do with the articles or the video that come on related to articles. If you open an article and don't want the video, just stop the video. But again tht has nothing to do with the presidency chat. Please fix the Chat so it will open- it was fine yesterday. What happened?!

    109-19 E.Warren and Obama should do a constutional response to the government shut down. Derailing prejudice rants in his campain. The legislatures
    being lawyers should go to court and get an immediate court order OPENING the
    government today,bypassing Trump because of lack of special cause or national emergency. A wall isnn't sufficent cause.The government is deficet broke and cann't afford a foolish wall or barriier. Oen the government or give Trump nothing.Impeach his lying ***.

    I'd rather not be confronted by a full page ad for POTUS when trying to sign into my AOL account. It's disturbing, and I feel like by having to enter my screenname and password on that page, I'll be tracked by his trolls.

    Get rid of the live chat about Trump. It is waste of screen space and makes navigating your home page almost impossible with out that junk popping up
