Stop using slideshows for news articles
I loathe slideshow-type news. If I can't scroll down to read an article, I skip it or go to another news web site.

The one-paragraph-per-page slideshow is incredibly frustrating, too slow. Even if the story seems to be interesting, it reads like soap-opera news..
Like many others, I use an ad blocker, got tired of the ads at every turn.
