My comments on the AOL opinion blog disappear a few seconds after I post them.
I don't think I say anything wrong. I certainly don't say any bad words. Sometimes a little sarcastic about political matters. But I read comments that are much sharper than mine.
In this time of quarantine, commenting and conversation on AOL are a great relief. I hope you can restore this to me. -

I clicked on the comment area, and it's just idiots spamming rude and disgusting comments. Moderate it or take it away, it's terrible

Hire competent, objective censors. You have censors rejecting totally innocuous, non-partisan, apolitical comments....just because they don't like them.

WELL, I THOUGHT FOR A MOMENT AOL HAD COME TO YOUR SENSES... BUT I SEE THAT WAS ONLY WISHFUL THINKING... BECAUSE THE FOLLOWING POST WAS REJECTED FOR NO APPARENT REASON! GOOD'ON'YA!
Yeah that one, NICHOLAS...
Ya know... the one with the heart, and the brain, and the courage to do what was right for America! As opposed to The unStable Genius we have now, who can only think, say, and do the first thing that flitters across his cerebral cortex... which most always has to do with what he thinks makes him look really, really tough, and strong, and smart... except it usually does exactly the opposite... and is seldom ever good or right for America!

ANOTHER ONE!
PRETTY SOON, NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO SAY ANYTHING!
I GUESS THEN, YOU WON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!
NOT A BAD WAY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM!I doubt you were ever truly liberal, STEPHEN... ** REJECTED BY AOL **
Because if you were... that liberal part of you, which never completely dies...
Would realize what a hypocrite you're being! And while there are plenty who would gladly debate with you...
Most of us would refuse to do so... because you apparently have absolutely no concept of the truth...
A characteristic you share with The Sad Orange One...Which is exactly what makes his "debates" so hilarious... and so disgusting!

UNFORTUNATELY, AOL IS TAKING IT'S "CONVERSATION GUIDELINES" RESPONSIBILITIES FAR, FAAR, FAAAR TOO SERIOUSLY!
PREVIOUSLY, OUR REJECTED COMMENTS WERE AT LEAST IDENTIFIED AS SUCH... NOW, LIKE THE ONE BELOW, THEY'RE JUST "GONE!" SEEMS LIKE SOMEONE'S BECOME A LITTLE OBSESSED WITH THEMSELVES!** REJECTED BY AOL **
I applaud him as well for having the courage to stand up for what he believes, MJ…
However, if you were able to comprehend what he actually said...
That he believes that Black Lives Matter, and he supports the movement...
He simply doesn't believe that kneeling, and wearing a T-shirt, is his way to show that support! It doesn't sound to me like he thinks it's garbage at all!
I wonder what it means that you do?! -

REJECTED... REALLY??? !!!
COULD IT BE YOU'RE GETTING A LITTLE TESTY BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE CALLING YOU OUT ON YOUR RIDICULOUS REJECTIONS?Too bad your post was rejected, MOCHA…
Because it conveyed an important concept that apparently not too many could comprehend! -

Y'ALL ARE JUST ABSOLUTELY OUT OF CONTROL!
THE FOLLOWING POST WAS REJECTED, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS POSITIVE, SUPPORTIVE, AND CONTAINED NOTHING IN VIOLATION OF THE 'COMMUNITY GUIDELINES!' THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING... AND STOP IT!AND... ISN'T IT ABOUT TIME YOU RESPONDED TO AT LEAST ONE OF MY "IDEAS"...?
Wow! Someone who actually read the article, and understands what Isaac said…
And is not afraid to challenge those who either didn't read the article...
Or are too afraid to acknowledge what they read!
Thanks, JEFF...! -

Stop deleting appropriate comments! AOL does not censor rightwing, racist comments. What a shame. To prove a point, I posted 'a' and it was deleted as being against guidelines. AOL preparing for a totalitarian government?

I've posted a number of "Ideas," but just noticed that for some reason they were only included as "comments," and not given the distinction of being an actual idea or 'complaint.' So, I'm re-posting each of them as a new "idea." Please consider and respond to them as such!

I have read and re-read your Community guidelines on what is and isn't acceptable in a post... and I fail to see how I've violated any of them! I've written before about my feelings on this subject, and would very much appreciate... Please, Please, Please... Tell me WHY the following post was rejected!Your comment is not completely incorrect, Les...
But it's a broad generalization of history, and not relevant to today’s Democratic Party.According to Jon Grinspan, of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, it’s true the Republican party was concerned with protecting the civil rights of African Americans from its very beginning in 1854, while many Democrats of the Civil War era supported secession, segregation, and the ***... "But it’s not accurate to claim those were the views of the Democratic party itself."
However, in the mid-20th century, both parties' stances on racial equity began to switch. “It started with FDR and the New Deal," he said, "But it was the actions of President Lyndon Johnson, who signed both the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act in the 1960's, that really sealed the deal for the Democratic party.”
As Democrats introduced policies supporting civil and voting rights, it became, and remained, the favored party for most Black voters. Trevor Noah claimed the realignment “led to a mass exodus of racists from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party."
Princeton University’s Tera Hunter, summed up the situation by saying that "The refusal to accept the Democratic Party’s policy realignment is a fallback argument used to discredit the current Democratic Party.”
That's supported by Trevor’s claim that, “Just because something used to be something doesn’t mean it still is. What matters more is what it is now!"

ANOTHER ONE!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT???
AND NOW I'M BLOCKED AND CAN'T GO BACK TO ADD OR EDIT!!!You’re right that George Wallace was a racist Democrat, Les…
However, you failed to mention he was Governor of the state of... Georgia…! And that he lost his attempt at becoming President to the very pro-civil rights candidate… Lyndon Johnson! In 1965, Martin Luther King Jr. called Wallace "perhaps the most dangerous racist in America today." And following his failed bid for the presidency, two Wallace biographers labeled him "the most influential loser of 20th-century American politics.”
So, while Democrats will never be able to ‘un-claim’ Wallace, there are not many who would ever consider him to be a true representative of Democratic values!

You guys just can't help yourself! If it weren't so disgusting, it would be funny... but it is... so it's not!The following post was rejected, and all it included was quotes from our President!
Does that mean we can reject him?As opposed the the Pearls of Wisdom we get from The unStable Genius?
"I think if this country gets any kinder or gentler, it's literally going to cease to exist."
"To be blunt, people would vote for me. They just would. Why? Maybe because I'm so good looking."
"I'm the most successful person ever to run for the presidency, by far. Nobody's ever been more successful than me. I'm the most successful person ever to run."
"I think the big problem this country has is being politically correct. I've been challenged by so many people and I don't, frankly, have time for total political correctness."
"While ****** is an extremely unattractive woman, I refuse to say that because I always insist on being politically correct." -

OH GIVE ME A BREAK!
ANOTHER POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION TO THE COMMENT BOARD THAT AOL HAS REJECTED AS INAPPROPRIATE! WHY? WHY? WHY?Again, I agree, JIM...
It's an interesting conundrum... the path and the destination.I believe that most all 'religions' have the same goal... enlightenment in the spirit of God... however that is defined. They simply have different paths and perspectives on how to reach that goal.
Then there's the perspective of enjoy and live 'in the moment' (on the path), as presented by Harry Chapin in his song, "Greyhound." "It’s got to be the going, not the getting there, that’s good."
For me, finding the balance between living in the moment, and working toward the goal(s) of my dreams, is pretty much my purpose in life!
All that is summed up for me by John Lennon’s song, “Imagine”… which describes all the distractions we face on the path(s) toward our real desired goals!
Imagine there's no heaven, no **** below us, no countries, nothing to kill or die for, no religion, no possessions, no greed or hunger...
I wonder if you can?Imagine only sky above us, living life today, in peace, and the world will be as one, a brotherhood of man... It isn't hard to do...
It's easy if you try!You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one -

I'LL JUST LET THIS INAPPROPRIATE REJECTION SPEAK FOR ITSELF! BUT I DO HAVE TO ASK... WHY, WHY, WHY???
I see your arrogance and self-righteousness, STEPHEN...
Is alive, well, and hard at work as always; sacredly guarding your right-wing agenda, by pointing fingers and blaming everyone and everything else, so you can continue to deny, distract, attack, and lie! How was that? Is it an appropriate response to your comment? It'll be interesting to see if it actually gets postedI also have a problem with how difficult it is to get pertinent comments posted... it happens to me all the time!... and apparently... how easy it is to get POS comments posted... it happens for me all the time!... and it does seem more than hypocritical! However...
The truth is that AOL has gone overboard in their efforts to create an "acceptable environment where all readers feel comfortable participating."
They don't give a rats patootie about your politics... or mine!
AFTER THAT POST WAS REJECTED, I ADDED THE FOLLOWING, WHICH WAS NOT REJECTED... AGAIN... WHY, WHY, WHY???
HA! My response to you was just rejected by the "aol censors"…
Who are "alive, well and hard at work, sacredly guarding their left wing agenda!"
How is that for ironic justice… and a complete disproof of your comment… and evidence of your continued denial, deflection, attacking, and lying! Feel better now? -

The guidelines should be about foul language and insults, not about writing the truth.I have my lawyer looking into this matter , because I have been consistently barred from making comments and this because of my comments about the present regime and I am not the only one to complain about this issue.
