Engadget
This forum is a place where Engadget readers can leave feedback for our engineering team about our desktop and mobile sites. We’re always trying to give you guys a better experience, and user comments are a great place to start. Drop us a line, and remember: The more specific your feedback, the better. (Oh, and be nice, please!) As a heads-up, this forum isn’t for giving feedback on our editorial content, but you’re always welcome to leave comments on stories and videos. (Again, be nice!) While we can’t respond to every reader suggestion, we do read and consider every piece of feedback we receive. Feel free to send us a note — we’ll be happy to hear from you.

Go back to separate pages rather than one long feed
Having one long feed is a pain when you click on an article and then go back - it takes you back to the top of the feed and you have to scroll and click to get back to where you were. Now I have to remember to right click, open in new tab, then close that tab when I'm done. It was much easier with the separate pages as it was before.

Energy consumption new products
Wondering why in this and age day i have to go and hunt down the energy consumption numbers about new products(tvs) when the major stats are shown. A simple line of energy star(guide) yes/no and rated numbers. I truly hope people consider this info, not just the latest and greatest but also the most efficient.

Content correction for Jon Fingas
This is likely the wrong place to post this, but it was the only way I could find.
I enjoyed the article about the quantum Internet, but in the second paragraph, you probably need "photons" rather than "photos". Thanks.

Dark mode
Dark mode at top of home page. 2020 and still no website dark mode!? As a tech review site surely you’ve heard of this style favoured by most users these days! Save our eyes!

What's up with your giant banners clogging the screen? In landscape mode on mobile, your website is unusable.
Banners are in the way of view. Get rid of Facebook and other social media banners at the bottom of the screen when reading an article. Does your own menu banner need to be so larger and obnoxious in landscape mode on mobile?

Shouldn't there be a contact us? How do we tell you an article written by Jon Fingas has a factual error?

This Company Does NOT Like Changes being Made
I just signed up on this here engadg thinggy. After I signed into this here Web thingy, I went to my account settings then I went to my profile, there is no way to change display name which is so ******* stupid especially since the ******* failed to provide an option at signing up. Bottom line, give as the option to make up our own display name.

Drop the SJW nonsense
This was one of my favorite daily sites to read before 2016 when you started the regressive SJW preaching in nearly every topic. I quit reading the site.
I just checked back today and I think you've gotten worse. Bye

Reduce carbon emissions
In response to your article about reducing carbon emissions. How about you remove cookies, trackers, and ads from your pages? How much energy would that save? How much energy/carbon will you waste adding my email address to some list? Emails I will never read and will probably mark as spam. You can do more. You can do better. Stand up. Make a difference.

Social Media buttons at bottom of mobile pages too easy to select.
The buttons stuck to the bottom of mobile webpages will trigger even if your finger starts on it but swipes up. This causes those sites to repeatedly load and interrupt the content on your site. Please remove them completely, or at the very least fix their behavior to avoid accidental touches from opening the sites.

In regards to the article "Google has discontinued the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL" the launch date reported is incorrect. It was in 2018.
I still love reading your tech blog.

Get rid of the autoplaying videos ASAP.
I was looking up iPad mini reviews. I found what looked like a good review on your site, but within seconds of the page loading, it started playing a video. I left, and I won't be back.
I don't understand why you have them. People hate these things, without exception. They're obnoxious. They can be embarrassing if you're in a room with other people. They're a really disrespectful thing to have on your site. Please get rid of these things.

Hyperlinks that work
In the good old days when you clicked on a hyperlink, it took you to an explanation or an article that was what the hyperlink represented. I started clicking articles in the daily newsletter and what do I get? For every link on the email, they all take me to the exact same page where you have to hunt for the article that you want to read. Seems counterproductive to me. Why do your jobs, when you can get your readers to do it for you.
