adds are making aol unusable. I know you need to make money, but after 29 years with the same user name, im looking elsewhere.

Here is the deal AOL you lock us out with Win 11 after downloading saying you don't recognize our account and we've been with you through the stone age, and then you have to get another code, and if you shut down your computer you lose your email and have to get another code and on, and on and on COSTLY our phone services or text CHARGE EACH TIME. All of a sudden email links won't open in my browser. I have uninstalled the Aol app and changed browser from Firefox to Chrome
I can no longer get links to open in browser from AOL app when opening emails. This is very frustrating. I have uninstalled and reinstalled AOL app and changed default browser and even did a factory reset on my phone and nothing has fixed this issue. The AOL support team has not been able to solve this also. Please HELP!!

Whoever is responsible for updating aol's comments section is doing a ****** job
Just put it back the way it was. It wasn't perfect, but it was much better than it is now. I have to click on a notification about two dozen times before I get to the correct list of comments. Same with my profile. If I select one of my comments in my profile, it doesn't take me to where I'm supposed to go most of the time. It's only gotten worse over the past couple of weeks. This is the biggest programming fiasco I have ever seen, and I worked in Information Technology for 30 years.

How about not sending me emails that were never delivered in 2022? I recently received a bunch of emails from 2022 in Dec. 2025!
This week (first week of December, 2025) I found messages (unread) that dated back to the year 2022!
UNACCEPTABLE.
Please explain how this occurred as spam never seems to have this problem.
Also, More spam than ever is not getting filtered out. Each day, I seem to have to send 4-10 emails to "spam"
I also note that periodically, I clean out my mailbox, then find new emails popping up that are from 5-10 days prior.
I guess you need better spam filters to ensure more direct mail gets through instead of spam taking a priority over legitimate emails (emails…

Aol is allowing slander by the pro trump Posters and yet they say their Community Guidelines will protect people.
Mark also was just arrested for touching little kids in bad ways so I wouldn’t reply to his posts anymore as the FBI is definitely monitoring him. This is what AOL allowed to be posted.

Don't be fooled. The message below is NOT a Monthly Benefits Statement. It is an unwanted promotional offer - the definition of spam.
The Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message leads to a page where I can see that I'm already unsubscribed from all types of communications from AOL. Yet you continue sending messages you know I don't want for services that I'm not interested in even though I've asked you to stop.

I have been trying to close my account for ages and it seems that AOL wants to look good and fat, preventing one from doing so (through web or phone call impossible and disallowed!) They even did this for a deceased client of mine.
The amount of Spam received even with all blocks set on high is Ridiculous!

Recovery of lost "Saved Email"
I have been a subscriber of AOL since 1994. On October 30, 2025 I discovered that every "saved Email" on my master account "jjcshndrsn" and additional accounts, "buttnercreekhome", "hndrsn0221", "hndrsn0517", "deapilot", "usmc094418" and "gs13step10" was gone. I was shown no saved massage. AOL tech supporter "Roxy" was unable to recover anything. I am requesting support from any AOL technician to recover my missing "saved Email". James J. Henderson
