Remove malicious ads at the top of inbox
Recently, every time we sign into AOL Mail, at the top line of our inbox is invariably the same malvertising ad that claims something like “your cloud storage is almost full.” It looked legitimate, and once, before seeing the “Ad” annotation, I clicked on it, taking me to a page that I believe was infested with malware, and that also asked for login or personal information. (The domain name may have been, in part, something like ‘rootkitrodeo’.) I had to wipe my device and start fresh before I felt safe again. Offer subscribers a choice of the type of news they are interested in: i.e. national, international, business, celebrity, local
I am completely turned off by the cheesy celebrity gossip that is featured on aol news. Today, Israel bombed Iran; however that major story was segwayed behind the feature story on blueberries!!, and another on a celebrity, and a third one on something equally as inane. Americans aren't THAT stupid or cheesy.
So two ideas: 1) allow subscribers a choice of what news they want to prioritize: international/national/business/cooking etc.2645th ranked -
Precious Moments Lost Forever due to AOL
I am sharing this on behalf of my mother's account. I have signed into her account today. They wiped our entire email account of all history of emails due to inactivity of my Mother's account. We have been dealing with her Brain Cancer recovery and have not used her email. We have lost countless emails with pictures of memories, saved emails with messages from loved ones that have passed, and encouraging notes from her sent to myself and other loves ones that can't replicated due to her disability from her brain cancer. I just wanted to thank you for ruining a 20-year relationship with your dating ads that appear while viewing my emails on your phone app. Which she thought i was on them, due to this. Remove the harmful adds from emails on your phone app to prevent this from happening to another.

I have filters set for 'ends with' and 'contains', and yet emails with both of those words set as filters still get through daily!

For several years, 100% of my comments submitted relative daily stories are REJECTED. I have NEVER posted any comment that was vulgar or inappropriate. My comments have often been supportive of Conservatism and Traditional Values.

Return to the way it was in 2001
I have been a paying member since 2001. This AOL is vastly inferior garbage compared to then. I have lost the ability to access one of my 4 screen names and I NEED it. Your customer service is useless. You have taken away the ability to filter out junk emails. Taken away personal profiles. Taken instant messaging. Get rid of ads that are scams. I received one for "drive storage" which looked like they were imitating Apple and wanting me to download.
You provide a small window for me to state my complaint about receiving scam emails which act like an imitation of Apple. In other words, I received an ad asking me to download in order to get more drive storage. The cloud logo looks like an Apple logo, which it is not. This needs to stop. AOL is accepting ads which are scamming people.
