2. AOL moved personal mail to spam despite person being in my directory

   Despite my friend clearly being in my directory, AOL put about 10 days of his email into the spam folder. The big question is how or why did this happen? However, lacking a spam counter caused me to ignore the situation until he called me and asked why i had not responded.

3. Send a Blanket email to all AOL email customers

   A scam is being perpetrated through AOL Mail that a person's email account will be cancelled if they don[t upgrade immediately. AOL should warn all of its email customers that this is a scam and to ignore it.

   AOL pretends to want feedback. And then totally ignore it. If you look at all the hundreds of suggestions, they may be worded slightly different, but it all comes back to the #1 complaint. STOP THE NEXT PAGE FORMAT. No one likes it at all. How many times do you have to be told? Why do you totally ignore you customer wishes. As mentioned over and over, you have some interesting subjects, But who has the time to go thru it with your rotten format, It is just a ploy to get people to look at different advertisements. And no one is doing it. Too mad at you and the advertisers to give both of you that satisfaction.

    I posted three accepted ideas from climate science and you rejected them all. The CO2 already in the air is supposed to take us to 2 over, The 9 billion tons of carbon in now melted or melting permafrost will take us to 3 over. 3 over is a disaster for mankind. There are 9 gigatons of carbon in soil and computer models say that will take us to 6 over in the higher temps of the future. Those science models don't exist to control us. All that can happen is that we leave fossil fuels before we run out, a matter of 100 years in mankind's history of thousands of years. Big deal.

17. Ad about cheap car insurance for cars driven under 50 miles a day is false/misleading

    AOL should make an effort to avoid running false/misleading ads. There is currently an ad on AOL that says "[Name of state where AOL User Lives]: New Policy For Cars Driven Under 50 Miles/Day." It sounded like a scam so I did a quick check on Snopes, which confirmed this ad, and others like it, are at best, misleading. Illinois has not adopted any policy of the sort. AOL should not be engaging in any action that helps spread misinformation. I understand you get paid to run ads of this sort, but you should not willfully turn a blind eye to ads that are false or misleading. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/50-miles-car-insurance/

18. AOL needs to trouble shoot issues with email

    I am fed up with AOL. For the third time this year I have had to go to tech help to have all my saved mail restored after it randomly disappears. This has happened before in the past and most recently happened with my mom's account as well. The only way I can get my mail back is to pay AOL's "ransom" fee to be able to even communicate with an agent beyond the entry level customer service help line. As soon as I get all my mail back, I am sending it to a new account with a different carrier. AOL is a dinosaur and will no doubt be extinct...not a bad thing given my experience.
