8. Perhaps it's time to complain to the FCC about AOL's unnecessary censorship and lack of a mechanism for redress of censorship.

   I have been a member of AOL since 1991, when it was dial-up.
   Lately, it is clear that Far-Right elements are protected at the cost of everyone else.
   It is clear that my name--not just any comment-is the target of overbearing censorship.
   I will admit that I have transgressed against the Community Guidelines on a very few occasions; however, even--for a month now--when I have absolutely complied with the Guidelines, my posts are blocked.
   There is no method of redress, and I have called Customer Service to complain--only to be told that I need to log my issues on this forum--and being kept on hold by Customer Service for 30 or more minutes.
   There is no method by which someone whose name is obviously targeted for absolute censorship can find out exactly which comment(s) led to the censorship, or how to address the issue(s), or any kind of guidance pertaining to how to get a fair hearing about the issues or recision of censorship.
   I have reported AOL to the FCC repeatedly because this is a CLEAR violation of my freedom of speech.
   I fully intend to provide a transcript of this "idea" to the FCC in a continuation of my complaints against AOL.
   AOL: If you are going to act as the sole arbiter of censorship, you MUST provide a documented method of redress for people who are being censored. Anything less is yet another sign of the creeping fascism that threatens everything Americans hold dear.

11. How do you consider yourself a "news" source when are not informing the people.?

    If you care about THE PEOPLE you would present news about what's going on now. EVERY DAY ITS TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP... Guess what Biden is the president. What is happening now to Americans is under Biden and the Democrats watch. When people are now paying $6 a gallion for gas and twice that amount for food I guess you let them remember the good old days of Trump when they were paying a fraction of that.     I am sick of your news bias. You take all of us for fools I guess. I am an Independent voter politically, but after this past year it is clear the current Administration is an utter disaster on all fronts - Foreign Policy, handling COVID, Voter Fraud Bill, Afghanistan Fiasco, Open Borders and pushing for the rights of undocumented people over existing citizens.     Well with the new hearing on the events of Jan. 6th
    I am not surprised with all the lies that are coming form
    our corrupt politicians in Washington D.C. VS the truth!
    When you have a Speaker of the House that is as corrupt and evil as Nancy Pelosi you have to ask yourself
    what in the world were people thinking keeping her in
    office for so long? She is the one resposible for the
    event that took place. She is the one who is sitting on
    thousands of hours of video that she will not release.
    The F.B.I. had agents and informants in the crowd who
    were trying to get the crowd to storm the capital. It is
    no surprise that the F.B.I. is refusing to answer the
    questions about their involvement with the so called
    insurrection. The plot to kidnap the sack of **** Michigan Governor was hached and pushed by F.B.I.. Then
    when you look at Liz Cheney being hand picked by
    Pelosi to represent the G.O.P. in regards to the investigation you have to wonder why the daughter of a war
    criminal with a ******* for President Trump was placed
    in that possition? This daughter of a war criminal is
    no different than her father. **** Cheney and George Bush are both guilty of war crimes and should stand
    trial in the World Court. This won't happen either.
    The path we are on now has been coming for decades.
    We are the only Nation in the world that is standing in
    the way of the One World Order. If you support Donald
    Trump you are either a White Supremacist and will be
    punished for your insurrection against Pelosi, Schumer

17. In news comments, links not working

    In the comments forum, comments links aren't working. For example, if I click on "See 11 replies," nothing happens. If I click on "View all 854 comments," nothing happens. Usually, the comments section opens up in a new window when I click on one of these links. That is not happening. Yesterday, I was having to click on these links multiple times to get them to work. Today, they don't work at all.

    I am old...71 I was on computers before the internet. I remember how I felt what a breath of fresh air AOL was in the day. I AM SO SORRY that the masses moved over to the platforms that we have today. Freedom gone original thinking gone. Yes we argued had trouble in Chats but your platform gave us something to think about, not information being forced in our heads. I can say till the day I die NEVER ME. Oh how I miss those days. Looking back you are the best. I wish I did not feel this doomed feeling. Where are our Tech people. Where have all the Techies gone?

20. Irritating banner ad at top of homepage

    Remove the banner ad at the top o the homepage, it is irritatingly disruptive when you are trying to see the news items. When it refreshes it jumps you back to the top of the page so you see the new ad. It does this no matter times you close the ad.
