How can we improve the AOL app?

Why don’t some of my mails open in the viewer? That would be an improvement!

Some mails just don’t open. I know this is a technical issue but sorting it would be an improvement.

    Why is this happening?!? Has been going on for over a month. Also, constantly asking me to sign in when I’m already signed in. This site is broken in so many ways!

    I quite literally don’t have a single good thing to say about aol. It’s actually ridiculous all the bugs and technical issues I have with aol yet nothing is done. People still use aol on a daily basis and the developers of this network don’t want to do anything to make their services any better. I have slowly transitioned over the years to Gmail but for unimportant reasons I still have to use this account on some basis.

    I’m using aol IOS app on an iPhone 14 pro max.

    Often when I click on an email it shows the subject line but doesn’t load the body text. A “spinny wheel” spins and spins and it won’t load.

    If I close the app reopen it, come back hours later, restart the phone etc - the rogue emails just I won’t load.
    I can move them to different folders - they still don’t load.

    If I open a mail client in a browser on my phone (within safari) it will load them - so my phone must be talking to the mail servers. Go back to the app - still not loading . It must be an app problem ..

    This happens for emails that I have sometimes previously read as well as new ones. The emails can be short - with no attachments … so I’ve no idea why it appears not related to the content of the email.
    This has been going on for a long time - possibly years.

    I have googled and applied the “help” stuff on line published by yourselves - non of it has made this intermittent bug go away.

    Had the same problem multiple times. AOL’s suggestion is the classic“did you unplug and plug back in?”. Deleted and reinstalled App, working fine right now. We’ll see how long that lasts.

    This is frustrating! I have tried to open some emails recently AND they just won’t open! Why is this happening?

    Some emails don’t open and the app does not synch with the main account (.net). It’s double work to delete emails I’ve already viewed on other devices or on web.

    I also find my mail I sent in outbox

    This is so annoying. I have to log in to the website to see them.

    Fix email so it works! Can’t open emails from iPhone XR.

    Same problem. Really annoying and unacceptable. Been with aol since dialup days but if this isn’t fixed goodbye. Only happens on mobile devices. Mail works fine on my Mac.

    The e-mails aren’t loading today. I tried closing and reopening the app, as well as restarting my phone. The number of unread e-mails are listed, but the new mail and old mail pages don’t show any e-mails.

    Some emails won’t open on iPhone app but will open on iPad. Please fix. See similar posts.
