Third parties should not be able to reclaim or register a deleted account
I’d just as soon delete the AOL account but I’m nervous someone else could register it and use it to get into ancient decades old stuff out there in other “leaks” on the dark web. Making it so a screen name can not be recycled by other parties (without say some kind of an account recovery code) will be an acceptable compromise too.
I don’t really use aolmail anymore and would be happy to free up whatever resources go into keeping me around but this account is so old and , probably, tied to so many other websites that could…

Once I have opened an email, it disappears, and is not found in any folder. This version has no "old mail" option on the drop down menu.
Please restore the " old mail" setting, or leave emails in the inbox until I actively move or delete them.

Please Bring back whitelisting
I have an extremely old address almost 30 years and I get relentless spam. Please bring back the setting to only allow mail from authorized senders that AOL had. I don’t really log into this often anymore because I’m tired, tired, tired, tired, tired of political and other spam from people who sell my address no matter how many times I’ve unsubscribed.
While you catch enough of the spam and outright scams and put them in a spam folder . I would rather totally reject unknown senders like I used to be able to. Because AOLMAIL responding sender OK instead…

Your new mail format sucks!
This new email is ****. Cannot select multiple emails with a shift click, only one at a time. The search doesn't allow for search of particular dates. Delete one email and the next one is automatically opened - NO! Go back to the general list. Need I go on? This thing SUCKS! You give the option of the old email but it is NOT the old email. Just the new in a different format. Please fix this ASAP

AOL is the worse
AOL has turned into the worse. I was upset with a company because they were not responding and all along it was AOL sending the reponses to SPAM

Go back to old format, if it aint broke don't fix it
Cannot read full message with new format (sucks) & cannot delete ALL trash folder without doing one page at a time no "mark all" option also in new folder cannot delete or read ALL anymore, have to waste time and read or delete page by page, not very convenient for us who do not look at our email daily or frequently (this REALLY sucks!)
