Instructions to disable desktop notification "your aol mail settings are out of date" are invalid, no such setting exists.
Notification popped up on its own when I was recording music, inserted a boinging sound, so I had to start over. Cannot disable the notification following the instructions, since "notifications" choice in more settings doesn't exist.

Add to Contacts Failure
AOL Mail fails to add new contacts to the Contacts List when selecting addressees from emails. When selecting these addressees, the right panel opens with the correct information, but fails to Save this data to the Contacts List.
Please advise.

Loss Of Newsletters
I subscribe to a number of newsletters and they have not been showing up in my Inbox. There are two Newsletters in particular that I have received on Saturday that I have not received in at least 1 month. I have contacted the Newsletter publisher and they say they are being sent to my AOL email address. I checked my Spam list and the publisher's email are not amongst them. Why is AOL deleting them instead of passing them on to me?

Contacts Missing
My contact list has disappeared from my account. I have years of colleagues, family and friends I can no longer contact. Message says NO CONTACTS AVAILABLE. When I try to restore contacts, another message says, RESTORE NOT WORKING. TRY AGAIN LATER. Have called tech support twice in 3 days and had no solution.

Do not Delete my saved Emails. I save a large portion of my emails specific to things I'm working on. Restore Emails AOL Deleted.
Do not Delete my saved Emails. I save a large portion of my emails specific to things I'm working on. Recently I was searching a mail folders and found that a large number of my saved emails were gone. Please Restore the Emails AOL Deleted. In the future if AOL is intending to delete emails, give me a warning, and give me a way to save them in bulk.

Password Change
I’m trying to change my password to access AOL mail. I (finally) found the link to do so, under Help under Privacy (I think). Why isn’t there a more direct/obvious access? More importantly, when I try to use it, it asks me to log in (even though I’m ALREADY logged in!!), but when I do log in, all I can get is a “WEB SERVER ERROR” page.
This is - or should be - a very simple, easily accessible function! In this day and age (with data breaches every other day, it seems), why can’t you make this easy, and…

ALL of my emails are gone, but I signed in recently! So many memories of my dead mom, GONE. Thanks, AOL.
I had NO IDEA that my AOL emails would be deleted if I didn't sign in in 12 months. Except, I DID. I signed in recently to retrieve documents I needed for something, so there is NO REASON for why my emails were deleted.

Problem with sending mail.
Apparently there is an update to AOL Mail which is preventing me to send out a weekly meeting notice to a group I belong to. It tells me to modify the message because it looks like Spam. I don't know what modifications need to be made. I can't change to list of addressees or the link to our online meeting.

"Sent Mail" still does NOT sort alphabetically even though the option is now present. It wasn't present before.
"Sent Mail" still does NOT sort alphabetically even though the option is now present as "Sender Name (A-Z)". It wasn't present before in the "Sent" folder but I see from yesterday to today, Feb. 20, 2025, AOL changed the "Sort" drop-down menu. I spoke to an AOL rep and we tried various things from "Settings" but nothing worked.

No Facebook Account
Many netizens avoid social media accounts, such as Facebook. AOL support representatives should work with AOL.mail users within the AOL domain with already registered and known AOL email addresses. Posting an AOL email address on Facebook is not possible without a Facebook Account. Please reconsider and modify your request.

Emails take forever to open up.
AOL mail takes forever to open up the email..Maybe need to work on that..Also the mobile version on some of the emails you need to put your phone in landscape mode just to be able to see the enitre email..
