keep getting spam from "blocked" senders
I keep getting SPAM in my folder from @kellykat.com. I've blocked these emails multiple time, but still they come. I'm getting more and more SPAM in my inbox, which I move to SPAM. You always ask if I want to "unsubscribe." I never subscribed to these domains. They are just trying to get AOL to give them legitimate email addresses. Wise up!
Hi. We're sorry to hear you're receiving spam emails! We have some solutions for you, please refer to this article to learn how to best manage unwanted emails: https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-mail-spam-and-privacy We also added additional security features for AOL Mail: https://help.aol.com/articles/additional-security-features-in-aol-mail Moreover, the block feature is best used for people, not spam, since spammers can use spoofed accounts. This means, what you see and add to your blocked list might not be the actual sender address. If you need assistance, you can reach out to us at https://help.aol.com/contact/
Thank you!

Your suggestions to contact you are NOT working. One of the sites you mentioned no longer exists. One of the suggestions was to post my email address on X. I am NOT going to post my email address on X as I do tnot rust Musk nor his encryption system. Remember DOGE and the invasion of privacy. Social Security, e.g.? I AM STILL NOT RECEIVING MY NEWSLETTERS, A NUMBER OF WHICH I PAID FOR IN FULL. I cannot re-register with them as they state that my email address is currently in use. Yes! It's mine! F.Y.I. Here's a message I receive when I try to do a google search: Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen? I STRONGLY SUSPECT HACKING OCCURRED AND SOMEONE HAS ALL MY NEWSLETTERS. I DO NOT EVEN GET REGULAR UPDATES DURING THE DAY, WHICH WAS A DAILY OCCURRENCE. NOTHING! I registered a member of my household with one of the missing free newsletters and he was able to receive it BUT I CANNOT DO THE SAME FOR MYSELF. HOW DO WE FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED? You have my account with my email address, etc. Please use it!

Previously, AOL Mail allowed users to block entire domains by inputting an * and a . followed by the domain name. The "updated" current AOL Mail fails to provide a means to do so. This failure results in multitudes of spam emails coming from domains such as .de to skirt the minimized AOL Spam Blocking settings by merely modifying the senders name that is in front of the .de domain, and send tons of different spam message with different names. Please provide a way to block domains. This will help users to radically reduce the amount of spam currently skirting AOL Mails' spam blocking tools.

PLEASE allow use of wildcards (*) to BLOCK ENTIRE DOMAINS in the the SPAM BLOCKER feature!!! The spammers simply generate thousands of multicharacter usernames using the same DOMAIN NAME. I get 50+ of these EVERY DAY.
AOL WOULD BENEFIT you allowed use of a wildcard... then the SPAM volume for ALL AOL USERS will drop exponentially and you would free-up a TON of storage space and bandwidth for other purposes.FIX THIS!

Since AI is purported good at detecting patterns, use is to detect those I can easily see in senders of the hundreds of spam emails I am now getting daily in my inbox.

Your spam filter used to catch almost 100% of spam, and I rarely saw any in my inbox. Now I get several pieces a day, and though I mark them as spam, the same ones keep showing up. I hope it is not the case that you are being paid to let these spam emails through. One of the reasons I've kept AOL all these years is because the spam filter is so effective. Don't make me switch to another provider!

So much spam I have to 'select all' and delete twice. AOL will do absolutely nothing about it and their blocking option stinks. Does not work on spam., Time to move to a decent mail platform that doesn't bombard you with spam, place spam in new mail and legitimate new mail in spam. Also, recurring calendar reminders not working as usual.

How do I block or stop Compuserve emails with no delete boxes. Lately I'm constantly getting email ads with no delete boxes or unsubscriibe option. These emails pop up then disappear. ERRR... IT'S ANNOYING!!

Another batch of 125 spam emails in the last 2 days. I hate this company. Spam going in legitimate mail, legitimate mail going in spam. AOL, you are the very worst.

I get various senders using 2 letter extensions. A partial listing is
.ar, .de, .si, .at, .es, .hu, .cz, .fr, .gr, .at,Do you have a process for me to block this daily assault on my aol email account?

Today, AOL provided me with an 'advert' purporting to be from McAfee. 'Click to Activate your protection', is claimed.
By opening it safely, I found that it was actually a Trojan which would have embedded itself in my PC and infected it. AVG blocked and identified it.
Why are AOL allowing such virus and Trojan distribution on their email system? Guess who I will be blaming if I happen to inadvertently infect my system with one of these dodgy links. I hope AOL have a lot of cash ready to pay for lawsuits.

In AOL mail, Create (1) button on spam filter for both that you “Mark As Spam” ( applied to all future emails from sender) & “Delete all messages from sender”( that only deletes inbox messages). The problem is have two separate functions marked as spam, deletes option on other. Marking as deleting all senders removes option to spam, it’s a weird cork in the programming.

There is no reason why AOL can not allow wild cards for spam addresses. I get a enormous amount of spam from: @gerdasine.info. They should allow: *@gerdasine.info. Why not AOL?

Previous AOL Mail Controls allowed users to block entire domains by simply inputting the domain name with an asterisk (*) followed by a dot (,). Any emails with the domain designator in the senders address, was block; no matter if the domain name was only two letters.
Currently, overwhelming numbers of spam emails are arriving from *.de senders, but AOL Mail does not allow users to block these intrusive emails, which have a modified, different or constantly changing sender name that precedes the *.de domain designator.
Please restore the option to block domains which are taking advantage of AOL's lack of comprehensive spam blocking processes. Alternatively, provide users with an updated means to block spam originating from specific domains.

And why are the comments ignored? You ask for feedback, how about giving some feedback back, and make it make sense, not gobbly gook
