  3. Provide free customer service!

    Suddenly I can't log in. I tried all the Aol on-line methods, none of which worked. Aol was to send the 6 digit password to my Aol account to get me in, but it never came through. So I tried sending to my cellphone and to my gmail account, but got no code in either case. I called customer service and for a "fee" they agreed to help me. How much? "Oh we can't tell you that." Are you kidding me? Every service on earth tells you up front what the charge will be, but no, not Aol, because they're…

    I am FURIOUS that you do not let me open Media Matters emails!! How DARE you censor what I CHOOSE to read? I have stuck with AOL for many years, and have been ridiculed for it a number of times, especially when I go to get computer services. If you are going to not allow me to open certain email I will be DONE with AOL!

  8. Quit prefilling login name and password

    Just stop. This is a bad idea. You got rid of the list of people who log into my computer and put one name and prefilled it. Stop. That does not work. It is just plain wrong. Stop doing it. And you prefilled the password. I don't want that. I don't want anything prefilled as multiple people use this computer. STOP IT. IT'S STUPID AND DANGEROUS. WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH THE PEOPLE AT AOL? THIS IS WRONG.

    I have 3 different screen names I use for business and every day use. I can’t open or get into any of them on my iPad. What is going on? I am losing clients because I can’t get my emails

  13. Email receives spam complaint how do I mark sender as not spam

    I accidentally marked an email as spam and deleted it - last year. The sender gets a spam complaint message and cannot send me emails. I added the email address to my contacts and this doesn't work. How can I remove the spam complaint flag so the sender can send me emails?

  14. Receive e mails timely concern

    Please note I discussed my e mail not coming in and to see it constantly refresh it
    Apple I phone says the third party to contact is my e mail provider
    I discussed this with aol tech support representative Ron on Thursday 11.am pacific there is no further information or identification the representative can give not authorized to disclose her full name or extension
    Please help me create a ticket case I have been a loyal customer or many years

  18. Activity (logging in; scrolling, opening, closing, ... all e-mail operations) in the e-mail screen frequently lock the system.

    My system locks up when using AOL mail. It appears to be a problem with loading adds, as the add panel on the right will be blank, then when the system becomes responsive I will see the adds have appeared. It even prevents me from navigating to other folders in my browser. I've decided I need to find other providers of the services you've added, and drop the subscription service-it's probably 200% of the price elsewhere.

  20. Big brother neighbor down the street.

    My mail is being filtered. I no longer receive automatic replies (or any reply) from commercial entities that I contact. I have the feeling that my AOL address has been “illegally” rerouted through an additional (not original) server in 2025 or late 2024. I noticed that for unknown reasons 2-step verifications has been requested from this only desktop computer that I use, when no browser change or update (or other change) has been made by me. Please check the basic routes (free of interceptions) for “phr***@verizon.net” Thank you!
