  1. problems with opening mail

    I'm having trouble with AOL signing in with Google Chrome, When I open an email, the email's reply cursor immediately appears, making it impossible to read any attachments or easily read the email. I seem to be able to use this successfully on another browser, and also when I switches back to Classic AOL, but it is very frustrating.

  2. Delayed and repeating "New Mail Alert"

    New mail that arrives typically is followed by a "New Mail Alert" sound. The new mail format delays these sounds for an extended period of time after the new mail is actually in the In Box. This fault is followed by repeating "New Mail Alerts" that sound after the first Alert has sounded...and then it sounds again....and again; for up to three minutes or more. This misleads users to re-check their mail, only to discover that no New Mail has arrived, since the last, already alerted mail has sounded.   5. Keep As New

    When I go to my Deleted Items and select an email to Keep As New, it should automatically move back to my In Box. Instead, it stays in the deleted folder. I shouldn't have to take two steps!! Also, it should go back to being BOLD. If you're going to copy Gmail, at least choose the good features.

  7. The Ad feature (?) seeems to have corrupted AOL on EDGE

    Get rid of the Ad...! I corrupted my AOL. Now I cannot access iton Edge (have to do it in Chrome) It gives me a hideous error page where I cannot proceed. I need suggestion on what to do. Reinstall?

  10. Recently started lagging and loading extremely slow

    For the last week, AOL has been extremely slow in loading anything on the page. If I click on an email to delete them, it lags way behind where I am. If I scroll down to view other emails on the list, it does not scroll when I do. I've rebooted several times to see if that will help, but no. I don't have this issue with any other site I go to nor with any other email account I have. I have had my AOL account since 1998 and would hate to give it up. People laugh when I…

    Why is this message in your Inbox?
    We think this message is spam. We still put it into your Inbox as the sender is in your contact list. You can mark this message as safe or remove the sender.

  13. mail I attempt to delete comes RIGHT BACK AS NEW

    OMG what A DISASTER since you changed the email. I have to now get rid of AOL and start a new email, BECAUSE I CANT DELETE ANY MAIL!!, no matter what I try, ALL the email that I "view" that should got to old mail, or "delete" , ends up NEW AGAIN!!!!, I have wasted my time deleting them and now I have over 7K emails that ALL LOOK NEW!!, so I can't tell what I just keep as unread vs those I actually have already TRIED to delete!!.   16. UNABBLE TO ACCESS AOL EMAIL

    My email does not load after logging in. The AOL Mail page opens with a blank page with an incomplete circle going round and round endlessly in the middle of the page. The settings gear icon does not function when clicked. As such, I am locked out of my email. First, I could not even login with my correct details.     Hi. We are sorry to hear about your loss! If the account has been inactive for more than 12 months, the mailbox was most likely purged. More info here: https://help.aol.com/articles/reasons-aol-deactivates-or-deletes-an-account  Once emails are being purged during the inactivity period of the account, they are deleted from the servers as well. While your recent login reactivated your account, the data deleted is not recoverable. To avoid this issue in the future, please make sure to access the account at mail.aol.com or the AOL app at least once a year.

    How do I mark an address as Not Spam when the Spam folder has been emptied? I've searched the AOL.help without success.
