Allow selection by date received. The only option is to select ALL mail. When I delete unread junk mail, I then have to reselect all.

Opening an email should not default to an automatic reply. This alone is annoying enough to send me back to Classic.
Provide an option when reading email to open email in Reply mode. Default should be to be able to open email in Read mode.

The more I use this update the more I hate it. I hate the freakiunbg search thing when I am trying to open an email. The placement of button
Change it back or lose my business. This takes more time with my business which we all know is NOT cost effective. Do what your paying customers need or lose their business.

The NEW AOL Mail
I like the "star" feature of the new mail, and the ability to select and locate the important ones easily in one place.
I do miss the "search" option of the old mail system, as I was able to fairly easily find e-mails I was looking for, rather than have to manually search the entire list.
Is it possible to bring that feature back into the new system?

used to be an item on the left side that allowed us to hover over the number of emails in inbox to see if there was anything new/unread there. That option is gone and really just checking email has become an unpleasant battle with the new AOL. Improvement would be going back to old AOL. Sorry/not sorry.

Trying to get used to the new format. Like the delineation by time period so I can get through my emails easier.
Am trying to clean up my 40K messages. Would be helpful to be able to delete multiple emails through a "global" delete option even by day - with exceptions unclicked for deletion. Also, starring is helpful but would like to be able to move it before the read mail dots (so to be able to rearrange the information as before). Thx.

Mail settings
Under Reply mails, the most recent email should be the first thing you see when you open an email, not at the top all the older emails you have been receiving or sending to that person or on that subject. All the older emails could be at the bottom of the most current email.

Block all messages from "renter-info" addresses to ALL accounts
Based on my own e-mail and comments from other posts on these boards, this is a common issue that AOL has chosen to ignore for years. Over 75% of all my spam comes from renter-info@(randomized end address). MAKE IT STOP. AOL's filters DO NOT WORK. I have tried to put sender contains "renter-info" to send to trash. Doesn't work. I have tried sending to a new subfolder. Doesn't work.
If AOL had any coherent staff looking at spam, they would be able to see how much is coming from specific address types and take actions to block this type of…

Add the capability to insert a line across the page between any text line.
This was available in the old version. Very useful!Allow the user to reposition function buttons on the page!

Please get rid of the keep as new email option and just keep every email new until moved or deleted.

Move the SEND button back up where it was (or can I move it ??)
It seems the "SEND" button for replying to or creating new mail, has been moved to the bottom of the page. Is that something I can move back up to the top of the page? Half the time the SEND button isn't even visible and I have to ***** with the page size just to send an email. Will appreciate some help - it's annoying. Thanks.

Paragraphs doubled
When I paste text from Word into the write email window, all my paragraph breaks get doubled so the paragraphs are too wide apart. This never happened with the old version of AOL.
