1. Feature Request: Reject High-Confidence Coordinated Spam Before It Reaches the Spam Folder

   I would like to suggest stronger pre-delivery filtering for messages that already exhibit multiple independent signs of coordinated spam or spoofing.

   I am not suggesting that every message with one failed SPF, DKIM, or DMARC result should automatically be rejected. Legitimate forwarding, mailing lists, and configuration mistakes can sometimes interfere with authentication.

   Instead, I suggest using a layered pre-delivery rejection model in which several high-risk signals together can trigger rejection at the SMTP edge before the message is accepted into a user's mailbox at all.

   Examples of signals that could be combined:

   • SPF hard failure, DKIM failure/absence, or DMARC failure
   • A sending IP or small IP range suddenly producing many similar messages
   • Rapid rotation of unrelated visible From domains
   • Nearly identical HTML layouts, wording, image placement, subjects, or campaign structure
   • Multiple suspicious redirect or short-link URLs
   • A sender/domain with no prior relationship to the recipient
   • Poor or newly deteriorating IP/domain reputation
   • Repeated user spam complaints tied to the same campaign fingerprint

   A recent spam burst I encountered illustrates the problem. Multiple messages arrived within minutes of each other from the same small network range. The visible sender domains changed repeatedly, authentication frequently failed or was incomplete, and the messages used nearly identical photo/romance-style templates and redirect links.

   The system correctly placed the messages in Spam, but by that point they had already been accepted into the mailbox.

   My suggestion is:

   1. Use campaign-level fingerprinting across messages, not just sender-address blocking.

   2. When multiple strong indicators agree, reject the message during SMTP rather than depositing it into the Spam folder.

   3. For uncertain cases, use temporary SMTP deferral/greylisting while additional reputation and URL checks are performed.

   4. Safely inspect and expand redirect URLs before delivery, including URLs hosted on otherwise reputable services that may be abused as redirectors.

   5. Escalate filtering automatically when a narrow IP range begins sending repeated, structurally similar spam using rotating domains.

   6. Preserve the Spam folder primarily for genuinely uncertain messages rather than messages already classified with very high confidence as abusive.

   The goal would not be to make SPF/DKIM/DMARC individually mandatory for every legitimate message. The goal would be to combine authentication, reputation, campaign fingerprints, URL analysis, and recipient history into a stronger pre-delivery decision.

   If several independent signals all point to the same coordinated spam campaign, I believe the receiving provider should increasingly reject subsequent copies before they ever appear in users' Spam folders.

2. Stop changing back to your setting i have to keep changing back to the ones i want.

   Stop changing back once i changed to what i would like would like it to stay, everytime i log on its back to yellow so then i have to keep changing back.

3. STOP CHANGING VIEW FORMAT; STOP WITH ADS; PLEASE DISPLAY THE FULL CORRESPONDANCE INFO- THE REPLY INFORMATION FOR DOCUMENTATION

   1. Please stop with the email view upgrades. Obviously people are satisfied with original format which is why they are still with you. The new format is horrible and not mobile phone friendly. Some people dont have the capabilities to download as an app. Please give an option to go back to classic view. 2. The advertising is overwhelming. Please dont compromise your integrity and ethics by resorting to having people pay to not have ads. Its destroying these platforms that once were ad free and the reason why people use it because of this. 3. PLEASE ALLOW FULL DISPLAY OF EMAIL THREAD INFORMATION. When I reply to an email, the reocrd should be displayed and not in short cut, e.g. TO, FROM, TIME, DATE, SUB. This helps if someone is trying to track record or file the email for documentation purposes. I dont see the logic in omitting this information in the email thread. 4. FIX when you review old emails and delete or move that it goes back to where you last were instead of back to the beginning where you have to click the arrow button just to get to the year or date you are trying to view. Thank you and I appreciate any consideration to reevaluate the aforementioned.

   need to be able to edit signature font rather than rely on aol. also what is aim.com? That is an alternative email address listed. I have no idea what it is. Seems dangerous as I got a phishing email from that address.

7. In Settings > Security and Privacy add "Safe Senders List" to keep emails from going into SPAM

   Having 'Block all senders except contacts' doesn't include emails from new doctors, lawyers, or businesses. A SAFE SENDERS LIST enables adding people who are not in our contacts.

20. sponsor ads fake virus scam

    I try to skip over ads when going thru mail and cleaning out inbox unless they interest me. Problem I encounter is while deleting unwanted mail I have accidentally clicked on ones that often say something about you have messages - When trying to click on individual mail or doing mass delete and that ad gets activated and screen goes full warning with alarms and voices and multiple pop ups and telling you not to close page or computer and to call a number for help. I have discovered how to usually get off that page find the tab it opened and delete it or close it. Not everyone can and many AOL customers are older and are loyal and joined it when new and stated with you, they don't know it is a scam and could lose their page and many other things including finances. Please vet and control you sponsors listed on your page. You can put scam emails in a file for us - you need to do the same for email ads and give us a chance to delete ones we don't want or even suggest kinds we want or do not want.
