imap password
i find aol very irritable to find answers. I had this problem once before and recall it being a nightmare to find the answer.
I am following various threads to do this again for my outlook app on PC and every thread tells me to go to security - generate password but i cannot find it from the web browser.
AOL is the pits when it comes to simplicity.

No Way to Remove Top Contacts that are Suggested
I spoke with tech support and looked all over the internet. It's confirmed there is no way to remove the top contacts that are suggest when using the search bar and next to the contacts list in mail.
It's odd how this is not a topic listed here, yet this is such a simple fix. I have a suggested contact here, such as my ex gf, I prefer not to see when I use my email. That contact isn't even on my contacts list anymore, but it's still suggested. It's wild how there's no way to remove these contacts. Cleared…

Stop allowing irrelevant, outdated, unwanted email addresses to keep coming up as possible fill-ins as I write emails. It only increases chances of mis-sent emails.

Improve SPAM Blocker
Your solution for blocking spam (senders) doesn't work. Some senders addresses are not shown when cursor is placed on the sender name or ID. Some messages after clicking “Block Senders” will disappear and return within 5 seconds. One example is the sender address of team@proudpatriots.com. This address is always in my spam and I can’t block the sender.

WHY ARE MY EMAILS IN DAY/WEEK GROUPS?
Umm Hello? Why are my emails being grouped, when my grouped option, which took me forever to find (horrific new FORCED format) is turned off? I cannot see the screen well or read my emails well with any comfort with them grouped like this. I need one list, no grouping, I have trouble reading "too much" on one screen, it's medical. You verify my AOL with a code you send to my Gmail of which you have no control. I have had the same AOL address for over 25 years.

BUG with deleting emails
Since about six weeks ago, at mail.aol.com, using latest Chrome on Windows 10, if I open an email containing links, and then I click "Delete" at the top, the email is NOT deleted and instead, one of the embedded links opens in a new tab.
Now, the only way to delete an email containing links is to FIRST SCROLL ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP, and then you can click "Delete" successfully.
This is annoying - and I would like to see this bug fixed. Thank you.

I cannot download Emails after Thunderbird updated to V 139.
AOL/Verizon need to work with Thunderbird in order to have Thunderbird download emails from AOL!!! Duh!
