In my 30 years as an AOL subscriber....very sad to see such a great internet model become so political that we cannot even compliment our country.

I tried posting "world cup visitors are in awe over the USA" and it would not be allowed to post....why, this is being printed in all the media platforms?

Totally true, I also pay for AOL and expect advertising, but it should not be so intrusive that it covers part of the story, you x it out and it keeps coming back....you end up moving on in frustration....
I can live with (don't like it) pop-up ads, as long as they do not interfere with what I am doing. I play Bridge Base and after a minute or so, a pop up ad appears and blocks the screen such that I can no longer play the game. There is no way to get rid of it or move it out of the way, so what is the point? There is no way I will buy any of the advertised material...ever!!
