Soft Core ****
Many of your news posts come under the heading of soft core *. I do not think that someone who rides the media train by posting nude selfies should be given time and place on the AOL newsfeed. There is true talent in this world, real time events, news and art. I have no need to look at the breasts of any low level, albeit, high-earning child.

In Mailbox. Change the default search criteria back to "Email and Subject" instead of "subject" only. What a ridiculous change you made.
In the old version, if I wanted to search for specific email, It defaulted in the search criteria with "email and subject" Now I have to go to drop down to change it every single time I search. Who searches by subject only? Not many. Additionally, add a search criteria for "search by date"

Ability to save a mail with embedded images as an HTML file again.
I used to be able to open a mail, and go to File, Save As, and save that mail as an html file, to be able to save all embedded images in one folder.
Now, you took that away from us. when I go to File, Save As, my only choices are to save as a PDF or TXT file. what good is that?
Please bring back the option to save a mail as HTML, at least until you get the advanced setting fixed to save all embedded images in mails. My mails are building up, because I'm waiting on… -
Fire the AOL editors. They need to be replaced!
AOL editors suck. This is the headline story (for weeks now) - Stormy Daniels?? Stop trying to destroy America with your subversive dribble. Become a real news outlet, not a shameless panderer of all things liberal and imaginary. Go after the dems every once in awhile for all their countless sins under Obama and Clinton. There should be more programs that will support Aol Desktop Gold. An ab blocker will not work on this browser.
There certian programs that dont work on aol Desktop Gold. Norton 360 itis set up for other browsers. Just had a ad blocker program that could not run on Aol Desktop Gold

Please give line spacing selection
I have the wording for some emails I regularly send on MSWord.doc document files, where single line spacing is used. When I copy and paste to an AOL send email the line spacing becomes double. Can this be fixed please?

Add back "Insert Hyperlinks"
Though there is the "insert Hyperlink" with the drop-down on highlighted text when writing an email, It DOES NOT work!!
The word to add does get added, in the 'hyperlink color' but the Hyperlink does not get added.
IN FACT - when hyperlinked images or words are added via copy/paste or "Reply To", the hyperlinks disappear -
When I click save button to save a website to My Fays the name that this will save to.
When I click save button to save a website to My Favorites ad a bar that displays the name that this will save as. Now I have to go back & repeat the save process to see what the name saves as - great waste of time.

I had reported the following: "Report a Bug" has no confirmation/follow-up, so here is the issue:
I reported this issue in the "Report a Bug" area. Every attachment I attempt to download is corrupted. For example, a 65.7 KB Excel file saves as 2 KB, and no information is present in the file upon opening. This has happened in the last 6 files I downloaded, the most current being today. This is TOTALLY unacceptable! Luckily, I can forward to my work email address...what about the people who have no other email address? This needs fixed immediately! I was asked to… -

How do I add words to local GOLD dictionary?
The old Desktop has a way of adding my own unique 'word'..
I.E. Names of people, etc...1 - They obviously weren't copied from the old AOL desktop, and there doesn't seem to be a way to add them to GOLD

Resizing images in mail
The resizing by grabbing the corners of an image is a lot more clumsy and takes a lot longer than the Resize in 9.8 ( decrease 10, 25, 50 % and increase 10, 25, 50, 100 % ) This really feels like a step backward. If you aren't really careful, the image goes to a solid blue and you have to **** around to get the blue image to turn back. If I was dealing with sending 10 or more pictures (which I often do, this will take a lot longer to adjust the images. Were I voting, I'd go…

can't handle large PFC..
aol gold can't handle a large PFC..constantly accessing the hard drive..this doesn't happen with my other screen names that have a small PFC..the old AOL did not have this issue..

Inbox
Why does the "Inbox" exist. All this is doing is duplicating and adding more emails. Once you read a "New" email, it automatically goes to the "Old" box. This will save space.

All other email systems allow this. Why doesn't AOL? This will no longer help to keep customers; it is too easy to give up AOL now that no one likes the new systems.
