It's not the mouse batteries, IT'S YOU.
Every time I'm to click the mouse button I have to click it several times before it will connect. Sometimes it will just flip to an entirely unrelated page and then it's impossible to find what I was looking at. What are you doing at AOL these days? You have a lot of people working for you. Why can't someone get this web site right?

To save or not to save log in password
Once I select "do not save password" for log in, that should never change unless I do so. To keep having the "save password" box automatically checked, when switching screen names, even after selecting "NO", is aggravating and wrong on your part.

Settings are all messed up
My Avast abtivirus did an update last night, and now I'm having problems with AOL. It no longer has my user name and password saved, even though I've repeatedly told it to. My mail settings are screwed up, and when I try to get to them, all I'm getting is a black screen. What's happening, and how do I correct it? Has anyone else had this problem?

Uninstalling OLD AOL 9.8
I have been using the new AOL Gold for years.
I hadn't uninstalled the old AOL 9.8.
I can find old aol directories and files going back earlier than 2019.
also 2018 & 2017 files & directories named C_AOL Desktop 9.8.2 & 2a
I ran the old uninstaller program and though it took a very long time, it showed an EMPTY "Select Applications to Uninstall"There was never an explanation of HOW to remove all the junk that the old AOL 9.8 has now become. When & How will you address this issue?

AOL Desktop Gold - Display Compatibility
AOL desktop gold is not displaying the email items and icon correctly on my computer. Whenever I hover over the email items it keeps on zooming and looks distorted. Icons are also missing when I hover over them. Tried to open this on safe mode and the distortion stopped happening but when I went back to normal mode this still keeps happening. I hope anybody can do something about this.

I am SICK of this!
I am SO SICK of having to reset my settings EVERY TIME I WANT TO PLAY GLOBESPOTTER! It never works the first or even the third time because I just don't know which white circle to click on. I know what I want to play and it's not up to AOL to make it so blastedly hard for me to do it!

Desktop Pictures Out Of Sync With Captions
When you open AOL Gold, the pictures (1-55 for 3/28) are continually out of sync with the picture description. This happens every single day! e.g. The picture for picture number 35 has the description from picture number 34. That description from picture 34 stays on Picture 35 for 8 seconds and the correct description for picture 35 appears. I thought Verizon was going to fix the mess at AOL?????

AOL Starts From Scratch Each Day
Since AOL Gold installed an update on 12/15/20, AOL is so much harder to use. All the info I input in a day is gone after I turn off my computer at night. The next day my Favorites from the Toolbar are gone, my Favorite Places list is gone (many items on it I've saved for years), and I have to log in with ID and Password each time despite indicating I want them both saved and automatically inserted.
