Settings are all messed up
My Avast abtivirus did an update last night, and now I'm having problems with AOL. It no longer has my user name and password saved, even though I've repeatedly told it to. My mail settings are screwed up, and when I try to get to them, all I'm getting is a black screen. What's happening, and how do I correct it? Has anyone else had this problem?

I've never had a problem like this in the decades that I've had AOL. This is driving me crazy, especially since I have no clue how to correct it.
