It would help if one could actually get on AOL and get their email. I can't even get the help topics, cannot even get to oath.com. Nothing
Can't get on AOL most of the time. Can't get email. Can't even get help. No internet problems at all. Gmail works instantly. AOL Gold Desktop is just the same old AOL flawed piece of software that it has always been. I only stay with it because people know my AOL address. But sooner rather than later I am gonna have to go to gmail or somewhere else because this is disgusting service for which I am paying.

When looking at the first "fix" on your list, I have news for you, it does not work. I am sure I could go down the list and find many more of the same. Stop pop-up ads
There is a pop-up ad I find offensive. After 45-minutes online (and then on the phone), I was told that AOL cannot stop this ad from popping up. In today's highly e-technical world, I find it impossible to believe AOL cannot block this ad.

It should be possible to read mail saved on one's PC without having to sign on to AOL
AOL is engaging in deception by telling users they can save mail on their PC. No, that is not true. If it was, users would be able to read it without signing on, would be able to back it up, and would be able to transfer it to another computer. This appears to be a ploy to force users to continue to pay for the desktop software indefinitely if they want to be able to read "saved" mail. 4/28/18: Search Mail not not bring up all the mail in my mailboxes
Search mail is not bring up all of the mail. I have 8 mails in my old mailbox sent to a friend. If I search under his name, only 3 of those mail come up. This has happened a lot lately.

Refresh
When I clicked the refresh on the upper right side of my welcome screen refresh. It shouldn't have to be re-do it to be back again normal. The exiting icon should be on the upper left side when I am done reading instead of the upper right side so I don't have to keep re-doing it the welcome screen back.

technical support for aol gold is VERY POOR
i have had a problem on and off since last November ... their answer to me now is to use a different browser ... I have used (and paid for) aol as my browser for over 20 years and this is the technical support I get ... use a different browser ?

Sign on screen
I wrote something yesterday, April 18, and you grouped in with a complaint from January and then wrote that you responded to this idea. That is not true. You are grouping together or separate complaints and one heading with you really never did dealt with in the first place. You need somebody to go back and read your complaints. You have a lot a long time customers were very unhappy with you and you are not answering the question directly or changing what they’re complaining about.

Many of the AOL users have used the Buddy List to know when their friend are online and the Instant messaging was a wonderful way to "talk" with family & friends... all over the world.
