  2. The platform is back to taking a long time to load emails. Also, now address are being dropped off my mailing lists.

  4. LET SOMEONE KNOW SOMETHING

    Today I was installing a new alarm and security system at my home and had to use my AOL email address several times. I couldn't get either system UP AND RUNNING because the companies I was dealing with COULD NOT VERIFY MY EMAIL ADDRESS???? A few days ago, my credit card was compromised and it was cancelled and a new one issued. About this time AOL trys to draft my credit card account on the old number, which was no good. AOL SAID NOTHING, I GOT NO NOTIFICATION......."NOTHING".....THEY JUST CUT OFF MY SERVICE right in the middle of what I…

  9. I am paying for your services and have to read and send mail on IE most of the time because GOLD is currently not able to send mail.

    fix AOL Gold.It ruined my computer and nothing works properly.Not to mention that I lost over 100 pieces of important info that did not get transferred. And your search engine does not work most of the time either.Mail can't be read or sent constantly This version of AOL is the worst I have seen in 20 years

    How do I get this AOL Desktop Gold off my computer...even my new computer, less than one week old..this program is killing me..slower than previous version by 10X...I keep deleting old mail and it comes back. Name is this POS does it...how can I go back to what I had????

  11. Neither CUT or EDIT/UNDO will remove a graphic from an email I am composing

    If I put a graphic in an email I am composing and then immediately decide to remove the graphic I can not remove it. I have to close the email and start all over. Don't tell me to clear my footprints. That does not help.

  12. I am paying for this aggravation?? Go back to 9.8.

    There is so much wrong in every area that I can't list everything here. Plus thing we loved like the Buddy List no longer exist. Things I have posted about in the past were either deleted with no explanation, or else they were not fixed or addressed. I have been a member since the 90's and this "updated" "better" Gold is the worst ever. Everyone wants 9.8. Why are you resisting? It has been months now with no fixes to critical problems.

    The browser is the worst piece of garbage. It does not update when you make changes to web…

  14. URGENT! Graphics being sent to customers have the resize box around them!

    Please fix immediately. AOL is ruining my business. I can not send graphics I create for customers. They have the resize box around them...they do not have the transparent backgrounds that they should have...and maybe it's just this crummy browser but they appear larger than they really are. What is AOL doing to us and when will all this be fixed?? There are problems in every area and I am paying for all of this????

  16. When Gold is open the entire computer is slowed down.

    When Gold is open the ENTIRE COMPUTER is slowed down. AOL Thinks I am saying The Desktop is slow, NO. It slows down other programs. When I get to work and turn on my computer, if I do not open Gold Desktop, everything opens quickly and with no problem, Word, Excel open in seconds. Once I open Gold Desktop everything is slowed down very very very much. It takes Word over 30 seconds to open if not more. The same with other programs. Firefox opens and then hangs just to open the basic page.

  18. AOL Gold email needs to be remedied

    When sending email and especially with attachments, frequently error messages appear and instruct to try again later. This rarely happened with previous versions of AOL. The new "Gold" should not have been rolled out until it was better prepared

    in this mornings email got a message from aol - quote [ if i do not install aol gold by march 15th service will be discontinued ] - I HAVE BEEN ON aol gold since beta version was introduced , over 1 year now - is this just another aol ***** up ? - time to give up my 20+ year paid subscription ! - past four months has been a total aol fiasco -

    I've been paying aol for over 15 years and at this hour am unable to gain access to any site. WHY?
    Someone should be able to program simple tasks and stop screwing with updates that only delay and harm customers.
