Please prove that you are sincere and tell us what fixes you have done to AOL Gold. I had received a message that updates are "automatic".
To ensure customer confidence (or at least attempt to regain some), please detail the fixes that you have made due to customer feedback.
If you fail to do that, you have a PR disaster on your hands.

AOL appears to be raising its monthly price again, but keeps cutting back on features. Took away Status, cut back on choice of fonts for Mail, cut back on artwork for Mail, can't cut and paste animation anymore and on and on. Listen to your users or they will migrate elsewhere (like gmail). Unbelievable how unresponsive AOL is to constructive comments, complaints and suggestions. Reflects very poorly on customer satisfaction & AOL staff.

How much Gathering of Information does AOL GOLD NEED??????For a Over a Year, AOL customers have been complaining, YET, NOTHING has been done. NOTHING>So why don't you,just send out a email to every, saying , WE DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU WANT. And why so many Welcome screens showing us what actress had on a see thru dress. Enough with Megan,or Jennifer, or who ever. GIVE US BACK AOL 9.8.2.Period!

Feedback does not work, nothing gets done. I believe it just goes in the waste basket. I have made several concerns and nothing hase been done, Been an AOL member for about 20 years. Old system worked great.

There is no point in contacting AOL about anything! Many have complained and you do nothing! You offer free things to us and why would we take them when your own program doesn't even work properly. I will be looking for a new mail server and when I find one I will call and cancel with you!

This is more than any one issue, it is all of the issues people complain daily about and keep getting swept under a rug. Maybe all of the money they now collect from advertisers and users should be used to hire more Techs who can actually fix all of the broken stuff.

Looking at the current Feedback status and only 29 have supposedly been completed and many of those "fixes" still don't work despite claims of being fixed over a one and a half year time frame? They spend more time merging and closing comments than they do making any fixes to all of our problems. Why else are there 780 reviewed and only 29 supposed fixes?

I have noticed that "Gathering Feedback", "Under Review", "Reviewed", "Comments Closed" are what each of these problems are labeled. Question is, if they are reviewed and closed to further comments, why aren't the problems they have addressed been fixed? They should be left open until properly working fixes have been completed. Do these labels even mean anything or does AOL just put a title on it to make it appear that something is being worked on to get AOL back functioning as it used to before Gold? So many complaints and so little improvements.

AOL Gold to needs to actually listen to all the complaints and DO something about them. It's been more than a year since you came out with "the new and improved AOL Gold" to replace AOL 9.8 which obviously from reading all these complaints, people actually LIKED. Now we can't organize our Favorites the way we want to, our address book isn't set up like we want it (by name, alphabetically; not e-mail address), we have near no choice of fonts in our mail settings and no choice of stationery and only one choice of emotions), AOL searches take forever to respond, difficult to add to dictionary, etc. Many of us have been with you for well over 20+ years and even stayed when you are now charging us per month when there are a host of other providers for FREE. Shouldn't you DO MORE and NOT LESS for your customers since they are PAYING CUSTOMERS??? Please give us more of what we used to have with AOL 9.8 like so many of your Feedback suggests and stop making "empty promises" to pacify us by telling us to WAIT because it's still being worked on. After more than a year, it should have been fixed or our money should have been returned.

Please tell us just ONE thing you've fixed since rolling out Gold. Have you fixed anything at all because I haven't seen it. It's bad enough you rolled out a piece of junk with four flat tires, but you haven't lifted a finger to fix or even deal with any of the numerous complaints. Probably because you're too busy counting our money

Who gave you permission to change anything on my unit? You forced us to take your ****** gold which no one likes. You removed things from my tool bar and force me to sign in to read my mail. Do you really not give a **** about us or do you just think you are so big you don"t need to hear our complaints? I see many complaints but no action from you.

You say you're sending out bi-weekly updates or upgrades, but I haven't seen any of the major AOL Gold problems fixed, yet. Also, when I click on, 'Check For Updates' in the Help menu, nothing seems to happen. Shouldn't a drop down window appear, or something?? Are the bi-weekly updates automatic? There are still many significant annoying things (all mentioned below) that haven't improved, yet. We're all getting very impatient!!
