In a nutshell, get rid of that automatic hint on the email name you are trying to type. All the ones that are showing are ones no longer in use. AND the latest problem is there's one that had an error in it and it will NOT allow me to create the email address I'm really trying to type. If I type the email address and hit either Enter or Tab, it superimposes mine with the bad email address in your hint or "suggestion".
I've asked if that can be turned off and was told it cannot (back before I was stuck in this error mess). It does NOT suggest new email addresses, only ones almost a year ago.
