Unfortunately, what you’re looking for is no longer offered in the current version of AOL Mail. If you’ve received a notification that a limit of the number of sent emails was reached or you’ve sent to too many contacts, you’ll need to wait before you can send more emails.

When I go to send out a group mailing it will not go I get an error message. Contacted your chat and they told me I could not send to a group that is larger than 50. What have you done?? I have groups that go into the hundreds. I want my old address book settings back. Please

We follow the anti-spam rules. Now AOL tech support has told me that we are limited to only 10 email addresses per email. They had already reduced the amount to 99, so this means we will be sending out even more emails. AOL -- you have already done away with the "white list". How about giving small businesses a break?? Please respond and not just mark this as a Duplicate.

I had permission to send out blast emails to the new jersey hockey coaches.
I think that you should not have required me to stop sending my blast emails out and change my groups until you had this sorted out. I can no longer send emails out to the hockey coaches in New JerseyTo institute this without being able to edit groups is ridiculous and unprofessional. I would be fired if I did this at work.

I neglected to say that I send these bcc because I don't share these emails with anyone without the persons permission. And gee, I just do that on my own without anyone telling me that it's the right thing to do!!

I send emails out to a large groups of people. You used to limit the number, but you raised it; and I was thrilled. Tonight I tried to send to 134; and apparently that's too many! But you won't even tell me how many I can send to. I probably send to over 1000 people at times. This now means that I have to send it 10+ times! I say this is BS!!! This is a high school alumni group. I'm not spamming anyone, and they can opt out anytime they want. I'm working on my class reunion this year, 50th, my class alone gets mailed to 250+. Last reunion was over 300, and may be again as I get email updates. I've been with AOL since the beginning of time, and now I'm even paying for it! If you don't fix this, you may lose me over this one. It's just going to be too time consuming. I know you can't respond to everything, but I expect a response to this. The chat person referred me here, and I'm looking for some customer service!!! Not votes on the favorite complaint!! I'm really p---ed off over this. I've spent 2 hours updating my mailing list and writing my email and now I have to send it multiple times. You should be saving your customers time, not creating ways to frustrate them!!

Why am I paying for something that doesn't work as well as the old free desktop. It's been a pain since you introduced it and forced us to pay. Now I can't even send to groups of less than 50. Just keep getting "can't send due to an error" message. Doesn't even say what the error is. This has happened numerous times in the last few months. VERY irritating. I've been using AOL since the 80's and always extolled it. Now I can'rt recommend it to anyone.

I am most unhappy to learn that I have a limit as to number of bulk emails I can send at one time. I had been given special permission to send out letters to my classmates once a month to several hundred email addresses, but since that time period is now only once every few months, there seems to now be an issue.
One of the main reasons I have been keeping the Gold AOL was for this purpose, so I am now thinking of switching to another server. This has been most disconcerting to me and I wish to let someone know who can make decisions about the issue. A contact from someone who makes decisions would be helpful. S** W** -

Please Increase the Bulk mail since most of us, send a lot of emails to The members of our Organizations
or Please Bring back The White-list.
or At Least Increase the Limit to 100 email address .

We operate a small business and have been using AOL since 2001. We rely heavily on sending out emails, and comply with the anti-spam act. Now you are limiting the number of email addresses in an email, there is no more "white list", and I am having to reset my password every few days because you think there is too much activity. I have called tech support, and they are no help. Any chance are you being any friendlier to small businesses? Or will you ignore my request and delete this message?

You can get rid of AOL Gold! It's horrible for email!!! I keep losing contacts which is I use for work and my boss is NOT happy that people don't get their email. You are costing me so much time!!! And I have spent hours with your techs who are not helpfuI at all! I can no longer send something to my entire address book. I must send multiple emails. I spent hours now checking my contacts to make sure they are there and then they are gone again!! I have asked to speak to a supervisor - no luck. I have asked to speak with a more knowledgable tech - no luck. After a year I still don't have a single answer as to why I continue to loose my contacts. You went from being great to be the worst!!!!!

I absolutely hate this program. I does fluky things. My address book triple all entries and I frequently cant send group emails like today. And I get to pay for this aggravation.

We have been with AOL since 2001. Now there is no longer a "white list" for businesses, we are limited in how many names can be in an email, and if we send out a lot of emails, which we have to do to conduct business, I have to set up a new password every few days.
We are a legitimate business and comply with all the spam regulations. I have called tech support on this. It seems there is nothing they can do to help. -

I will cancel AOL because your service gets worse and worse, not better. Ha! Have to accept terms before I can do anything. That's where you get me when you can say "you accepted our terms".

I have PAID for aol for years & we are a non-profit org that uses the bulk mail function to reach our rescue partners - you have made it so difficult to do this that I will be switching to another provider shortly. Also - you screwed up the address cards - primary email was marked and instead of making that email primary, you just made the top one primary so I lost MANY changes..... very poor customer service. please forward to a friggin manager!!!
