Unfortunately, what you’re looking for is no longer offered in the current version of AOL Mail. If you’ve received a notification that a limit of the number of sent emails was reached or you’ve sent to too many contacts, you’ll need to wait before you can send more emails.

I send emails to church members in large numbers (300) at a time. I can no longer do that in AOL. This has been my primary email carrier since back in the 90s.

I am not longer able to send group emails out. I thought you had fixed it but apparently not. Getting fed up with your service and very ready to switch! We are paying $25 for virtually nothing! I'm tired of calling your service department and getting no where.

Put back the bulk messaging feature in AOL especially for urgent and special concerns that sending group email is a must!

You now only allow up to 40 names. I weekly send to various distribution lists over 40 up to 120 names and it won't send on top of it I lost all my lists over 40. Are you nuts. I will leave AOL after 30 years if this doesn't change.

When you implemented reduced number of addresses for batch mailings, why didn't error message explain why mail didn't go out? I spent hours yesterday on phone and in chats, could not break up my list into smaller batches, couldn't save my groups. Finally learned by experiment how to form the groups by adding small number of names at a time. Frustration and anger were massive until I found a way with no help from your team!!!

AoL
I have been a subscriber since 1995 and have long felt that your service was excellent and backed with technical support that was readily available, professional, polite and reliably helpful. Of paramount importance has been the ability to send newsletters and informational notices via bulk mail to members of my camera clubs and college alumni chapters due to being included on your “White List”. I’ve always given credit and praise to your technical support technicians when asked to participate in your Customer Surveys. I appreciated it and wanted to encourage its continuation in an era that offers less and less of such service.
Beginning with the sudden imposition of AoL Gold a year ago I’ve noticed a dramatic deterioration in the program and the tech supports ability to sustain the high quality of service of the past. AoL Gold was fraught with many glitches and frequently used features had disappeared. Only after repeated phone calls was I informed that AoL had revised the application in order to reduce the high level of hacking that had occurred. Instead of hiding this fact, your policy should have been more truthful and transparent.
In addition, the amount of Spam messages has increased to about 100 per day, despite efforts to filter them out.
Recently, I was unable to send one of my bulk mail notices due to “an error”. Unlike previous error messages that identified the location of the error, usually a typo in an email address on the CSV list, there was no explanation of the reason. Despite considerable trouble shooting and numerous calls to tech support with probes via Bomgar remote access, the problem still remains.
I suspected that I had been delisted from the White List, but I could never succeed in having that question either confirmed or denied. It appears that I was removed from that list without any notice, confirmation, explanation or apology. This is a most unacceptable way to treat a loyal customer of 23 years, but it is apparent that this is no longer a consideration. Having spent a distinguished career in sales and marketing of goods and services, this is reprehensible on the part of AoL. As a result, I have been forced to find an alternative internet service provider.

we have been with aol for decades and currently paying $24/ month for services we do not use. We were on the white list for years with no complaints. Now trying to connect with our groups a message comes back cannot send -error. It does not specify the error. This also happens frequently with mail to an individual or a few individuals. Finding immediate help to resolve this is difficult. One of us is extemely frustrated and the other is becoming more frustrated. .If these things continue we will be forced to go to gmail or hotmail or another service that is not $24/month and gets our mail out

Since I have not heard back from you regarding my urgent request to be allowed to send unlimited addresses in one email, and because there is a deadline on the amputee information I sent, I was forced to send 22 separate emails for 249 addresses with many different server addresses. It makes me look like I don't know what I am doing in front of my recipients and will cause me to lose my accounts with them. And I pay for this??? I need to be able to be unrestricted from the number of recipients I can send on one email, regardless of their servers...in this one, it would have been all 249 in one email. These are NOT spam emails...they are educational materials for amputee people who need the information in a timely manner in order for them to be able to function their lives at their highest possible level. I expect this to be addressed and fixed within this week...I have reported this complaint repeatedly since February, 2018. That is more than ample time to have had it fixed. I expect this to be fixed and not merged with another email regarding bulk mail. This inability to send emails all at once to my recipients will cost me my job. It is URGENT!!!

My account is under *********@AOL.Com, however, I only use this email...********@AOL.Com.
I am in charge of sending over 300 emails multiple times a month to people related to our amputee group to advise them of the events that pertain to our amputations. They are not spam emails. I have been doing this in one email since 2004 with no problems until AOL Gold was put in in January, 2018. I am now restricted to the number I can send in one email and that does not work for my duties. I am also restricted to the number of domains I can send to in one email and my recipients have many different domains. I need to be approved for a minimum of 500 emails in one sending including all the different domains. I need this tonight as my recipients need to the information in order to comply with a deadline in four days. I need this as a permanent solution. If you cannot accommodate this, you will be putting me out of business.

ERROR messages with no specific reasons merely frustrate your customers, rather than offering way to correct the error!t

We have been using AOL since the late 1990's to keep our homeowners advised of HOA happenings via Group Email. We have about 180 addresses that we send information to. Here lately when I try to send group messages I keep getting ERROR messages and won't let me send to the groups. This is not SPAM. What gives. We are considering switching to a different provider.

Technical support is pleasant, courteous and incapable of resolving issues of mail going out from my computer - either bulk OR INDIVIDUAL! I am told, in my daily discussions with your tech staff, that it is a "system wide issue and they are working on it Given the payments I am now making to your AOL monthly, I am furious at the lack of even minimally decent service from AOL. HELP!!!

As a non profit for 25 years and a subscriber to AOL for all that time, we have been able to send an email to a maximum number of 400 recipients. Tech support now says that limit has been reduced to 50, due to the Verizon merger. This will cause undue hardship to our staff by increasing our emails by 8 times, We respectfully request the limit be restored to 400. Thanks.

This is a complaint on how your bulk mail policy is affecting my non-profit group. I am responsible for disseminating timely information to about 750 members on a daily basis and have been doing so for about 15 years. Since last Friday I have encountered issues in sending information to my membership of 750 who have been divided into approximately 20 separate groups. I usually send bulk email to about 6 groups at a time but am now unable to do so.
May I suggest that AOL create an exemption list of users (especially for non-profits) that allows for dissemination of bulk email . -

For years I've been sending out email blast to a community of up to 1200 emails. Lately I'm restricted to 50 to 75 at a time. Is there a fix. A few weeks ago I could send around 700 at a time. Can I get this back?

I'm very upset with AOL Gold! I am a member of the Colorado Elks Association and have been sending out messages of sickness and distress and notices of deaths of our members since 2006. I was on a White List and had permission to send the notices to about 700 of our members. These are NOT spam notices. Now AOL Gold prohibits me from doing so in one email. I now have to break my list down into no more than 40 addresses which means I have to send out more than a dozen emails of the same message. This is just plain ridiculous! AOL Gold does NOT make things better or easier.
There ought to be a way honest people can be of service to their friends. If AOL cannot or will not help, then it may be time to give up my membership.

AOL Email system now sucks. I have been a customer for several years. Recently someone made a decision to change the Email system. I have had problems sending out Emails since October 18th. Have called twice to tech service and still got no help in solving this. First they told me I had too many Email addresses and then later they said the server was down. I am spending over $ 20 dollars per month for your services and it is not working as in the past. Better get it fixed pretty quick or I will be leaving AOL for another Email service.
