TO MANY ADS, I thought paying customers did not have ads. the ads cover up the printed material on the pages, news items, etc.
any way to get rid of the ads. I hate to seek other portals, been with AOL for the very beginning!

when you sign on to AOL...you get the main screen that changes to the next news article...but to the right of the main screen you get the annoying live stream ad that you can,t get rid of. I've done the ad choice thing about a million times. Anyway to get rid of that.????

This is why I rarely go to the AOL news. The constant ads that jump around are infuriating. There are many news sites that don't do this.

Ads I am not interested in keep popping up flashing or in the way of reading an article.

Is there some reason you cannot read a news article without having to dodge soooooooo many ads in the middle to actually be able to read it? Ridiculous to have to hit the continue button time and again and then dodge even more ads.

Here I sit TRYING to read a story, and a damned video ad keeps plowing into the bottom right corner and flops around. DISTRACTING!!! I know the videos are cutsy, but they are also annoying. My solution is to turn that story off and do something else. I'm not sure why I write these because they just keep coming along with gusto.

Stop the rapid flashing ads like from Viator which are annoying and hinder me from reading/concentrating on my emails, etc.

I find using AOL Gold to be a disorganized mess:
1. Trying to read an article is cluttered with ads.Trying to stop them does not work via Google. Even while reading my local news paper on line, extra ads are stuck in using Edge.
2. Why so much info on whats happening in England? We are in the USA.

STOP all the pop up ads that appear when I click on anything in the welcome screen!!!! They often cover the picture. Why are we paying a fee for AOL when you force these ads on us!

As I was saying, I thought things would get better when AOL was bought by Verizon....They have gotten worse......you cannot read most of the content because of all the ads, On some pages the text is covered up with ads. I thought the paying customer, like I have been for years, the ads would be less.....on the contrary, worse. Please stop some of the ads for us paying customers.

Reduce the ads or reduce the monthly fee -- but don't charge us more just to show us more ads!

Is it really necessary to have those damned video ads playing all the time? I was just TRYING to read the artilce on Air Force One and a **** ad kept jumping around on the lower right. I quit reading. Thank you for my enjoyment.

Why can't I read a story without most of the screen blocked by constant pop up ads that won't go away?

stop the ads can't even get through your headline news items without all the ads blocking my view and completly ruining my experience while trying to get through the maze you have created. I'm done with even opening any of the leads

Stop the ads on the news headline features, then when you do click on a feature, you have to click "NEXT" pictures....., then there are more ads,,,Why can't AOL, just show the news that was originally featured on the welcome page!!!!
