Ever since I went to AOL Desktop Gold I'm getting a lot of ad e-mails and **** e-mails and I'm not very happy about it, especially since I'm paying you. Also, there's no easy way to block these sites without opening the e-mail. Please respond with a solution.
The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify unwanted emails in the future. You can also block specific senders by going to the Mail menu on the top left, and selecting “Block Unwanted Mail” from the drop-down menu, then adding the senders emails address in the Sender Filter’s block list.

My complaint is about MAIL/SPAM. I see that this issue is rated #1, and this is for the specific reason that it is NOT just "I" having this uptick of SPAM emails. I called and talked to a Tech. Support associate less than a week ago. It seems strange to me after talking to a tech. support associate that those number of SPAM emails drastically increased from two or three a day, to at LEAST thirty (30) per day. Is there an "insider" at the AOL server, deliberately playing with our MAIL INBOX/SPAM folder. It takes ONLY one "insider" at the AOL server to ramp up our receiving spam emails. The solution I was given was to change mt password, which I have done repeatedly ad nauseam !!! To me, this is an internal issue with some demented AOL associate doing this on a regular basis on many paying AOL membership people.
I've talked with several Technical Support people over the past six months to a year. And, it seems very strange to me, that those SPAM emails increase drastically after an AOL technical support associate takes remote access to my computer by utilizing BOMGAR !!! WHY?!?!
I am NOT making this up, AOL. AOL is having a problem that many paying AOL members are having on a daily basis.
FIX THIS ISSUE NOW, TODAY ......... PLEASE !!!!!! -

No 2 have the same address, so it's difficult to add them to my "blocked" list. AOL -- What can you do about this?

AOL -- You responded to a previous complaint about all the spam emails to add the addresses to Block Unwanted Mail. That's not possible to do when they all have a different address. I am getting more and more every day. Can't you do anything?

Many of the SPAM emails either incorporate my email handle as the sender OR on the subject line. How is this happening?

I have been getting spam emails from other countries, UK, India, Germany. Verizon should be blocking these from coming through. Should be an easier way to block them instead of typing in each email address.

What are all these new SPAM email addresses that end with ".host"
I don't even want to see them in my SPAM folder.

In order to block a spam address I have to open the spam to see the entire address. This kind of defeats the idea. I don't want to open obvious spams.
